Anime/Manga - Discuss Japanese cartoons and comics here; NO CULTURE WAR DOOMPOSTING!

It looks like it's going to be a beautiful tragedy with humor. He knows the world has ended and he has created he will end up as a Zombie too, but he has embraced the sheer freedom he has and is going to do all the things he wanted to do before he's turned into a zombie.
We'll see what happens. The stylistic choices alone have me hooked. Itaden Dietes and Houseki no Kuni are similar in that regard with very unique artistic styles and also great watches.

Finally got around to watching Zom 100 - this is a refreshing take on the escape fantasies, as a burnt out exploited worker discovers the zombie apocalypse started and he is now free of the chains of society. So he is making a list of 100 things he wants to do before he ends up as a zombie too.

Also zombie blood is multicolored and splashy for some reason
Yeah I though Zom had a good first episode, although I did kinda go in thinking it would be like an anime version of Shaun of the Dead so I kinda wish there was a little longer gap between the zombie apocalypse starting and MC realizing he's in one due to being a sleep deprived hung over corpse (its been years since I watched the trilogy but wasn't it a good 5-6 minutes before the two realize there are zombies). But overall I liked it, not sure If I should watch it weekly or wait till it's done.

Seems Trigger may be making some more P&SG

Also, a new Brave series manga, Brave Universe Sworgrader, is going to begin serialization at the end of July for the 25th anniversary of GaoGaiGar! It's going to be a new mech, new story, new child sidekicks -- I'm officially hyped! An animated intro for the manga is going to be released. If they use 2D animation for the mecha, I'll be super happy, but I'm not going to get my hopes up too high. Hopefully this manga does well enough for a full anime to be made!
My dick is so hard right now

Second episode of Zom100 was good. Interesting how the first thing the guy did was deep clean his house, something that's generally considered one of the best ways to help lift depression.

I just saw it now so I just remembered now that I forgot about the 2nd Cruisekino random anime collab. This time with Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning - Part 1, collaborating with Spy x Family.

Also, for anybody wondering which was the last Cruisekino anime collab, it was Top Gun: Maverick x Uma Musume

Halo Legends 2 wouldn't be surprising. Edgerunners gave an otherwise almost dead game a much needed shot in the arm, and Halo Infinite is clearly struggling.

>remember that JoJo Part 6 ended and skim most of the series
>forget that Stone Ocean is Stone Ocean

I honestly like the ending a bit, it’s not bittersweet, it’s literally apocalyptic and I like how Made in Heaven was animated. I can’t really say the ending wasn’t satisfying, but it’s a bit sad. I think Steel Ball Run’s fight with Valentine literally contradicts the possible bittersweetness of Stone Ocean’s ending though. The new Universe Jolyne isn’t Jolyne and Emperio will never see his friends again.

I feel like the Steel Ball Run is honestly good fun, but Jojolion and Jojolands kinda suck.

in jojolands defense, we only have 6 issues out. and unpopular opinion i kinda liked jojolion
I don’t know how to put it, but I just feel like since Steel Ball Run JoJo kinda lacks something.

I really can’t place it, but it wasn’t really the Stand bullshit taking prominence. I think it’s just the Antagonist are lacking, Jojolion just didn’t really have a strong antagonist and just ended. I feel like Jojo parts really depend on their final antagonists.
The stakes never really matter too much. I like Part 4 for just being Josuke being fucking incensed that a serial killer was around and killed one of his friends. Kira was entertaining with how seriously he took himself despite his insanity.

In other news, Harmony Gold can eat an entire shipping container full of dicks.

While I don't care much for Robotech, I don't hate it, I hate the company who owns it can't let Macross be used without HUGE amounts of red tape and make everyone happy just because they want a movie deal that they have been shopping around since 2000, and have had ideas about since before then. Someone needs to tell them the movie isn't happening. They had their chance in the 80s and 90s, it's done.
