I posted a question on my autist group re: treatments for sleep apnea, and mentioned some lifestyle changes that are frequently mentioned on informational websites as being helpful for mitigating symptoms of the disorder, including weight loss.
Someone responded telling me that any doctor who recommends weight loss is unethical and abusive and that all doctors are instructed to never discuss weight loss by the overseeing medical board and that no attempt to lose weight ever lasts etc etc and basically gave me the entire HAES lecture... for the record I'm in Australia and the HAES movement, while picking up steam, does not have nearly a fraction of the flabby power it has in America, so not only was she convinced that weight loss is impossible, but that we had exactly the same kind of fucking fucked up 'health system' that the USA does.
Can we please find a way to remove autists from the SJW movement? It's poison. These people believe absolutely everything they're told except the truth.
Also, I rather think that if not dying in your sleep isn't worth losing twenty kilos for, you aren't a healthy person in any definition of what 'health' is, no matter how much you weigh.

He said that consulting exorcists about what demons say under compulsion is no better than using a ouija board. Focus on Christ and the angels instead, for your own sanity and spiritual health.
It's also hilarious how they'll constantly harp on technology and wax poetic about medieval peasant life but they're clearly addicted to twatter.

The left/liberal tendency to utterly obsess about race and gender and really all the identity stuff. The social issues that are being pushed are suffocating any other changes or legislative priorities like fixing electoral problems or dealing with climate change. It prevents internal discussion about anything else in the democratic party, because only the transgender disabled black wolf furry is allowed to talk. And at the same time, it creates such an easy wedge issue for conservatives to pounce on, that it kills anything broadly supported policies that would otherwise get passed.

I am politically homeless. I lean anarchistic/libertarian more often than not, but I also think most people can only handle so much freedom. Most people, indeed, need to be told what to do, to have something to turn to for when they can't (or just don't want to) think, and to give them meaning. For people who can face reality, I encourage people to just do so, but take a careful tack when dealing with the typical moron.
I think that people who can, and choose to, see reality as it is, should be educated to do so well and also in particular not bother people who can't handle it, while people who are more normal should be identified by world view, values, and life experience to find a home, and finally the people who can be meta about it figure out how to help everyone get along. But this is extremely unlikely to ever happen, so whatever, pipe dream!
That said...
Conservatives treat everything, even things that really shouldn't be, as matters of personal honor. Their view of taking responsibility is taken advantage of by others who will use obligation or debt to make them go way too far, way past half way, or otherwise be exploited by people who abuse this sense of honor. They also often completely reject the notion of externality, be it economic, or mental. Ignorance, a lack of education, not knowing you don't know something, can hold you back. Likewise, lacking access to thinks you know of is also A Bitch™. To their credit, they seem the most consistent. I also can't really fault someone for having a sense of honor in this fucked up gay ass world, I blame people who take advantage of them and our bad education system.
Liberals are confusing. Almost everything is an externality, almost everything is some matter of things outside of individual control, with the notable and baffling exception of if you choose to have bad feelings, while privileged. For example, being afraid of thugs, bums, etc, or simply being uncomfortable in an urban area, especially if you're from a rural area, is your fault, and is a sin, and something you should be judged for, because Xenophobia isa sin the root of racism. Because everything is all about unfalsifiable inner feelings and essential natures, they keep everything vague, at some level of vibe or sentiment, and defend those feelings by controlling speech and having a volunteer reserve army of Jannies fucking everywhere which is the dumbest gayest nigger faggot shit ever.
Liberals seem to see a world where people are trapped by their essential natures. Greens are fucking self defeating retards who say nuclear power bad while decommissioning nuclear plants to burn coal and buy gas from ideological and geopolitical enemies who need to go back to drum circles in Boulder and Austin.

I'm generally conservative-leaning, but I personally believe a lot of the work protections aren't a bad thing. There are normal folks that happen to be poor. I also prefer state monopolies for critical utilities like electricity, water supply and mining over private ownership, and I support nationalizing the banks and the Fed.
I also believe in non-interference with other people's personal lives, so I'm against a lot of "public decency laws" banning things such as adultery. It's up to a man to be strong enough not to be cucked. Guys like iDubbbz deserved it. I'm also pro-polygyny and pro-consensual incest. Polygyny was genuinely accepted in early, original orthodox Christianity and monogyny was imposed by (((them))) to curtail the rapid increase in numbers. As for incest, I see no reason why a brother shouldn't knock up his sister if both want it, and I consider this a private issue. Your house, your problems.
Indecent exposure should also be limited to the genitals only and I see no reason whatsoever to ban toplessness, in the case it is banned. In the case a girl wants to go topless (especially if she's beautiful) I see no reason why not.

Used to consider myself 'conservative' (like that means anything anymore) and very right-wing, and socially I still am to a certain extent but like many others here I've become politically homeless. The current political categories are woefully outdated and out-of-touch with rapidly shifting global and generational dynamics. I think the autistic obsession with race and constant navel-gazing over who is superior is an unproductive and needlessly overgeneralized distraction which lacks the nuance of ethnicity and myriad other factors (this is a very American problem among both blacks and whites). I am opposed to black-on-white racism as much as I am opposed to white-on-black racism. Race means absolutely nothing to me. Culture and values, however, mean a great deal.
I'm generally in favor of labor unions, provided they retain a mechanism to minimize internal corruption among their ranks. Trust-busting of corporations needs to be utilized very, very often. Governance should emphasize decentralization and the principle of subsidiary, namely that a higher level of government should not do what a lower level of government is capable of carrying out. The United States needs to radically decentralize itself or peacefully dissolve (the chances of the latter happening are slim, though). For reasons of national security I think it is justifiable for a state to have nationalized industries in key sectors, especially mineral extraction, but the market should generally be allowed to flourish freely (provided sensible ground rules for business are in place, and laws taken to minimize/discourage harmful externalities). Support by local and national government for the arts - especially the high arts - should be encouraged to cultivate good civic virtue (much like the City Beautiful movement in the late 19th - early 20th century).
Law enforcement in American cities should be much more strict to make them desirable to live in again. Development of good public transportation, high-speed rail and reduction in car dependency in urban areas is desirable (as long as it's carried out on a local/state level, not on a national level) but private ownership of cars shouldn't be forbidden at all. Regulations on cars should be loosened up so they don't have to be these massive gas-guzzling tanks you see plowing around the suburbs these days. Driving tests should be more stringent to make sure that drivers are as competent as possible.

I would consider myself slightly right-leaning, because I do believe culture, values and tradition should be preserved in some way and I also even if I am not religious, I recognize the importance of spirituality as a relief to people.
With that being said, I am tired of Christians and other right-leaning/conservative people who bitch about how the Jews
wants to wipe them off, want white Christian women and children raped, indoctrinated or both, openly simping for another Abrahamic religion that would actually wipe them off and rape/indoctrinate women and children if given the chance aka Islam, with their main reason for simping is something in lines of "It's so trad/based because women are put in the line and they throw gays off the roof", forgetting the fact they have things such bacha bazi, forced transition for gay people and that this whole religion has a stereotype of them being nonces and goat-humpers for a reason.

Agreed. People really need to read a damn history book, this trick only works I think due to some level of obfuscation and control they have of the media (tv, news, good part of the internet). They really underestimate how senile and out of touch a lot of the people at the top are. The ones who were able to act a little less spitefully are getting too old now, and their progeny are the hunter bidens of the world, not exactly masterminds of the universe. It takes time but these people are not infallible gods and treating them as such, rather than treating them with the derision and contempt they deserve, only benefits them.
