Tony hates lesbians, part 94.

Leaving alone the fact that writers typically don't write their own headlines or subheadings (a privilege reserved for bloggers such as Tony), really Tony is just putting his marshmallow brain on display again. No-one on the anti-trans side has claimed, or is claiming, that "biological reality is everything" in all cases. But there are plenty of cases where it does matter, like sports, or letting men (who commit basically all sex crimes and violent crimes) into spaces where women are vulnerable (and mentally-ill men at that). Tony and friends are claiming that biological reality does not matter at any point.
I've put some extra detail on the birth certificate matter in the spoiler below, but TL;DR leave lesbians alone bro.
Anyway, here's Weird Al's new profile pic for those of us who find him too boring to visit his thread:

Edit: lol, strabismus?
And here's a two-fer of Iain K Roses. The first one is, obviously, doom and gloom. But I encourage you to watch them in order for the pure mood whiplash.
Estrogen ain't doing shit to that brow ridge babes.

I'd encourage people to read Kathleen Stock's article. Lesbian mothers should be on birth certificates - UnHerd (archive)Alejandra Caraballo (@Esqueer_) · Jul 21, 2023 · 3:26 PM UTC
Kathleen Stock, who has spent years arguing that "biology matters" now says it doesn't always matter when it comes to her rights as a lesbian mother.

Lol. Lmao even.

This all kicked off with the Italy thing, mentioned a couple of pages ago, where the government decided to strip lesbian second parents of their parental rights. This, in turn, kicked off a bit of a kerfuffle on terf island social media, with more socially conservative types saying that this was a good thing, and birth certificates should only reflect the biological mother and father.
It's important to note that, in Britain, this position would need a change in law. Birth certificates in Britain include the names of those who will be, according to law, burdened with the responsibilities of parenthood, and rewarded with the rights of parenthood. Typically this is the (biological) mother and father but not always: rapists aren't named as the father on the birth certificates of their victim's child; sperm donors don't appear on birth certificates of children born to couples where the husband is infertile (donor information is stored separately for the child to access as an adult).
And this is where the Kathleen Stock article comes in (do read it!). British birth certificates don't and can't serve as some kind of paper 23-and-me. They exist in large part so the state has a record of who is responsible for the upbringing of a particular child, and who has a claim on parental access to a child should custody be disputed (ie divorce).
