One big example that I find NOT to be a warning sign is anything that gets played a lot on top 40 radio. So think Taylor Swift, K-Pop, Beyonce, etc. The average audience for this kind of music is moms driving their kids to school. Yeah, there's some psychos on twitter, but they aren't representative of people in real life.

I also think that K-Pop and pop in general is just supposed to be fun and set the mood for gatherings and such. It’s as deep as a super-soaker fight, but those are still enjoyable.

I will give props to the drummers for those type of bands though, if they're not multi-tracking and/or using a drum machine, those fuckers are insanely talented.
