Black men have different builds to white men, it's just not as obvious because they spend more time running. Running drugs, running from the law or running from their baby mamas, take your pick.

Apart from the obvious, it probably has to do with their evolution in Africa and lack of food there making them store more fat. I tried looking it up for an official answer, but I just saw a sea of "muh racism" and decided it wasn't worth it.

If I had to pretend to be a cultural anthropologist, I would say it's because American blacks have a very matriarchal culture. Nobody knows their father, so the most important person in a child's life is their mother, with her brothers being the closest thing to father figures (though being black males, there's a high chance that even these male figures won't be present in their nephews' lives due to being in jail). In this way the black community resembles Paleolithic cultures that hadn't discovered the sex-pregnancy connection yet, but the reason that the kid never knows their father is that he ran away, is in jail, or both.

You could also look at it from a sexual dynamics angle. In the US, every race considers blacks to be the least attractive. As women choose who they have sex with, this gives black women a massive degree of control over black men, and means that they can get fat as fuck and still get laid whenever they want, because black men usually don't have any other options.
