Here's a new story about Prisha Mosley's lawsuit: EXCLUSIVE: Young North Carolina woman sues the doctors who put her on testosterone at age 17, saying she needed therapy, not a double mastectomy, in latest blockbuster 'detransition' lawsuit | Daily Mail Online (archive)

Sadly common story:

Mosley discovered transgenderism online and started socially transitioning to being a boy aged 15, believing it would help her anorexia, anxiety, depression, and recover from a sexual assault she endured when she was 14.

The defendants 'lied to and misled her into these treatments and procedures for the purpose of making money off of her and bolstering their credentials in the emerging field of so-called gender-affirming care,' it is claimed.

Dr Perry in January 2015 diagnosed Mosley with a gender identity crisis after an 80-minute session and pushed her onto having testosterone shots, it is claimed.

This was over objections from her parents, who said their daughter had other problems that needed treatment — but they were sidelined from key medical decisions, the papers allege.

Here's the gist of her complaint (attached for reference):

Defendants lied to and withheld critical information from and about a young and vulnerable teenage girl, who was a victim of sexual assault and suffering from severe psychological impairment and disability. Instead of providing competent treatment for her depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and emergent borderline personality disorder, they convinced her that changing her body toappearas the opposite sex would solve her substantial mental disabilities that had plagued her for years. As explained herein, Defendants’ diagnoses were fraudulent, reckless, and rife with incompetence and they substantially and permanently compounded Prisha’s physical suffering and mental anguish.

Isn't it funny how saying someone's full name every single time sounds weird and obnoxious in English? You give respect that way when introducing someone, but from then on it's a Mr/Ms/Dr Surname or a first name depending on context. But saying a name over and over the long way emphasizes the person and draws attention to the fact that you're saying their full ass name over and over, as if you mean something by it. I just tried saying it out loud a few times and I think Aaron in the US is pronounced like Erin in British English, not the other way around. The first syllables of Aaron and Erin both turn into a very short, almost swallowed vowel in American English (or most accents of it, anyway).

You do very occasionally come across non-trans males in the US named Erin, maybe because their parents didn't understand the difference.

Sort of off-topic, but there was a case in France where a tranny fought to be included on his child's birth certificate as the mother. A lot of gender criticals pointed to it as a sign of trans lunacy, but if anything the fact that he had to fight for it was the trans lunacy, because the French government didn't need to be convinced that he was a woman and therefore would be listed as the mother, their only problem was that he needed to prove that he was the biological father of the children which they had deemed impossible since he's a true and honest woman. I might be getting those facts wrong though, this article provides a little information I don't recall from the original article I read indicating that he might have been fighting to be listed as the mother

Anyway, my opinion is that birth certificates should list the biological parents. I disagree with professor Stock on this. A major difference between her and Tony, though, is that I'm sure that she'd be willing to hear me out on this and even if we don't end up agreeing 100% we could still reach a compromise. Maybe they could include different lines for biological mother, biological father (this might be left blank if the identity is unknown or unsure), and legal parents.

This is totally insane.

But now I'm sitting at home trying to pronounce transgender like Tony. It's almost like you are about to roll the r but fail and the tongue just goes forward.

Part of the issue seems to be that most of the time he's saying "transgendered" but trying to enunciate it enough for you to hear it. I think that this is a thing that some pro-trans media figures push in order to legitimize the perception of being transgender as some sort of intersex condition as opposed to a lifestyle choice. Another part of the issue seems to be that he doesn't want to open his mouth fully because then you'd see his gapteeth and he might lose his girlface.
