Yeah, no, I'm asking why a 50 year old lawyer who is supposedly successful in his own professional life is having a meltdown over a Barbie movie.
I saw all culture warriors on internet are losing it, all of them- when none of them had any investment in the toy itself. Linking hot takes of another youtube personality does not answer that, because there was shit tonne of movies that were specifically shittier than Barbie and they were destroying 'for boys' IPs and yet Barbie is THE singularity that melted them all. None were invensted in Barbie dolls even a month ago and it was never aimed at them in the first place. For all I care, it can be a mediocre movie, but why all those men lost their plot so toroughly that they compare this movie to matricide and actual Nazis?

Tell me you haven't watched without telling me you haven't watched. The fact you keep talking about being invested in the doll means you haven't watched because if you had, you'd understand it has nothing to do with the doll. I'm not going to explain it to you when you can just watch the video I linked and then you'd understand why they acting like this. But instead you'd rather be upset about not understanding so you can rant about how grown men are upset over a doll. Has nothing to do with the doll and everything to do with the perceived message the movie is pushing.

I'll take a crack at explaining it, here's my theory. Disclosure that I have not seen Barbie or watched any coverage. All my opinions come from the funny images thread here on the farms.
They're following the zeitgeist. Barbie went from "huh that's happening" to "why the fuck is everyone posting all these Barbie memes?" over the course of a week for me and I assume it's the same for the boomers. They can make the same cultural point with other movies, but wouldn't get nearly as much reach so they're striking while the iron is hot.
It's not raging boomerism, it's an competent response to a social contagion by activists.

He apparently let the pool liner company drain pool water and/or maybe the rinse water (which would contain epoxies/sealants). I'd have to see the city or council ordinance to know for certain its a violation (there are usually allowable discharges, such as dechlorinated pool water) but if not its a fine.
Here's the EPA model guidance for illicit discharges into a municipal stormwater system. The letter he held up in the recent livestream looks like Madison AL, if so they just copied the EPA model guidance in their city code.
His fan club is suggesting he talk to Rekieta who has zero experience with environmental - this is going to get pretty funny. He already got two code violations from the city/council.

Had to watch a bit to see if he's still an unlikeable mess (he is.) Oddly fascinating stream to me between his grunting and complaining about his back (really funny moment to me at around 36:30 and 37:20 with his Peter Griffinesque sucking through his teeth and grunting/panting) and the stiffness of his tone when talking to the chat. As for the chat itself, basically all middle aged women who really do live for the lawtube parasocial shit.

Lawsuit was dismissed pre discovery apparently because judge opinionated that writing stuff on twitter is just stating opinion as is said on Twitter.

For those hating themselves- Chris Bouzy is a failed cryptobro with multitude wonky and Borderline illegal business, including Twitter bot called BotSentinel for checking hate speach. He got tangled with Nate and TUG during Johnny vs Amber saga by writing weird compilation on hate speech towards Amber Heard, he was supposed to be some kind of techie and old Twitter protégé who dindu nothing and could get accounts cancelled, until Nate found out he was a fraud scamming his landlord for money and who rigged the hate bot manually to show what he wanted it to show. Like Nate account was 90% hate and an account called "Hitler lover" with Nazi content was 100% good. Bouzy also got mingled with Meghan Markle and her boy toy, writing compilations about hate on her, then taking part in Neftlix docu about the ex royals. Since Elon Twitter swept aways all his contacts in the platform which resulted in Bouzy buying Russian Twitter clone for 15 bucks and setting up Spoutible by scraping users of Twitter and setting up their accounts there with no chance of deletion while breaking most EU laws on privacy.
In the meantime he suggested that Nate is a crook pretending to be a lawyer not having a licence, then he doxed Nate by revealing on Twitter that Nate's real name is Nathaniel Brougthy not Nate Brody which suggests that Nate is a laying liar who lies. Go figure. He also wrote some thing that Nate was bad cop that broke rules and even worse prosecutor who planted evidence in coordination with cops.
In short Bouzy is a lolcow and I'm not surprised Nate went after him. Still a lolsuit tho.

Update:
The gist of dismissal is that Nate didn't prove malice, as in, didn't prove that Bouzy knew he was lying. Which I find weird, because Bouzy DID write that he knew Nate had license, but he waited for someone else to post his dox just after saying Nate didn't have his licence to practice. Courts are weird.
Ron Coleman, the main attraction on the case, doesn't even care enough to tweet something about it except for this
