Having a population of "people willing to attend a themed party" at 52% disabled is completely insane. The 17.8% of the overall population isn't even a good comparison, the vast majority of meaningfully disabled people are old folks. A trans party like this will probably have 95% of attendants under 50, those people should not be anywhere near two digits of disability%."52% of trans people identify as disabled". That seems strange, right? There's obviously some trans people with disabilities, and maybe more than average if they've had surgery complications or whatnot. But that compares to 17.8% of the UK population with a disability.
And none of these people even question the statistic, like, of course most trans people are physically disabled, duh!
If they were asked about mental illness it would jump near 100%, but they would all insist being transgender isn't one.
