Fucks sake if i have a history of watching primarily right leaning content sometimes then what the fuck does youtube think by putting the opposite in my recommendations
I'm not even trying to political sperg but it's just annoying seeing tranny shit even though I haven't once watched anything related to it and if anything I watch stuff that's critical of that shit and it just reminds me how no matter how hard I try to escape political nonsense it follows me

I remember there being a number of articles talking/complaining about Youtube's algorithm promoting "alt-right rabbit holes" and whatnot. Like you watch one "Liberals get OWNED!!1!" video and your recommendation feed starts pushing related content that would totally spiral you into being a fascist or whatever. I wouldn't be surprised if they started trying to make the algorithm push oppositional content in a really half-assed way to assuage those fears and "deprogram" all those awful, awful nazis who got their start from watching cringe compilations.

I wouldn't even really say it's MAGA related, moreso just showcasing how dumb leftists are for the day but I suppose it correlates. Even then it's been a while and it's rare because there's other things i'd rather listen to as background audio so i just assume I'll click on a video and the video uploader made tranny shit at some point and youtube just assumes i'll like that

YouTube does this to everyone. Are you hate watching left leaning content though? If you are you should stop because hate watching is for faggots.

Another possibility is that you watched like 1 left leaning video, or you clicked on it by mistake. Now YouTube will spam you with these videos until you spend enough time not watching them. Just click on or touch the three little dots and choose not interested or don't show me this again or whatever it says. It will take a while for the YouTube algorithm to get that you don't want to see that kind of garbage. It happens to me. I watch one video of a guy with his pet Toucan and then YouTube spams me with every video about Toucans or pet birds in general.

I don't hate watch because hate watching is gay and I saw some shit on my recommendations about Transphobes bad and i'm puzzled because I haven't watched anything that would even get me there and this isn't the first time this type of thing happened so i'm just wondering if yt does this on purpose or if videos you watch from certain channels increase it because I do like to listen to horror true crime esque stuff and those types of people tend be a little annoying with that shit

It isn't just certain channels, are you perhaps browsing threads about trannies here on KF as well? Because the trackers they have on your browser will see that and try to recommend you content based upon it. It knows you watch political stuff, it knows you read about trannies, so here's political stuff about trannies.

What you're reading/interacting with here on the site will absolutely impact what they recommend you on YT if you're using a regular browser.

They make that claim, meanwhile guys like that pasty weasel Hbomberguy interperses his political content with hour long videos about random popular videogames like fallout 3, so a person gets recommended a videogame video, watches it, and next thing you know they're being suggested his stupid smarmy opinions about conservatives dumb.

It wouldn't surprise me if the claim about alt-right rabbit holes wasn't projection, because if anyone's likely to try to trick people into the door it's the lefties on YT. It seems like really right leaning channels make it clear right off the bat what they're about.

Microsoft launched a version of their News app for children. It automatically posted all stories with children in the title. Children killed, schoolchildren suicides, child abuse etc.

When put like that then things make much more sense, still really annoying though because i have tracking disable so i'm guessing something is either broken or the browser is lying to my face(likely)

I've never wanted to punch someone as much as I did after watching his smug faggoty Dark Souls 2 critique, where his thesis was literally "You're not supposed to use one of the primary mechanics available in the game and that's been used to make 3D games practical ever since Ocarina of Time, dummy!
