>animators bitching at forum posts calling them degenerates by presenting people as ugly

Many such cases. The animaniacs did this too, but one of the Usenet trolls was a fat bald weirdo. I think one of them was a helicopter parent who was doxed back then and actually called people on bimbo fetishes and adult baby shit

It wasn't just forum posts, one of them was literally harassing and stalking Tress MacNeille (during the Tiny Toons era), and they were almost all colossal spergs and lolcows worthy of the mockery, although by today's standards they were almost normal.

From what I remember some of those people weren’t moral crusading for nothing. They were right to get pissed at fetishes in children’s cartoons.

The Chris-Chan like autists or Mr Enter retards we’re basically forum jokes, but animators really got angry at the moms who posted.

FURRY LOVE
==========

The sun shines, breaking through the tree outside our window,
awaking me from my restful sleep,
awaking to the sight of your pretty face
awash with a contented smile as you dream.
I hesitate to wake you, my pretty squirrel,
for I, too am awash with happiness, knowing we are together
alive with love.

You stretch as the morning rays gently carress your silky fur,
wiping the finale of your night's dreams away
to awake with a smile
and a "Good morning, Honey".
I reply in kind, with a gentle kiss
and a warm embrace.

Oh, how I remember fondly our strolls in the moonlight
as we exchanged our love for one another
-How it sets my heart beating
to know that you love me as much as I you...

I know our Furry love will last...

Since this thread was talking about Peanuts, there was one TV special that I deeply adored.

Why, Charlie Brown, Why?

Linus has a "friend" (honestly more chemistry than Sally) named Janice where they loved to play on the swings together, but then, Janice develops cancer, and the special focuses on Linus' personal struggles on why something horrible is done to a kind and sweet girl.

Selected scenes

Linus throughout this special is such a gigachad.

Linus dealing with a Bully

Final scene

And finally, we see the results of the prayers and hope for Janice to get well from an unconquerable disease (I felt emotional watching this).

Thoughts

This special, along with other Peanuts TV specials, are more mature and enjoyable to watch than most of modern-day animation that children and adults can enjoy together. Finally, I think Peanuts also does really well with making youngster characters very bearable, compared to a lot of the youngsters in other animated films, in which they are obnoxious and annoying.

For example, Linus' younger brother Rerun (who is a kindergartener)

Also, I noticed that the new love interest for Charlie Brown in that upcoming Peanuts movie is somewhat of a combination of Janice (if she was disabled instead of cancer) and the Red-Haired Girl (except Hollywood keeps blackwashing redheads).

That's the very dude who creeped on Tress MacNeille. I was trying not to mention him by name.

The intro for Tiny Toons Looniversity just got uploaded a few days ago.
I have mixed feelings about this. (Not that I had any hope for this reboot to begin with) on the one hand they kept the theme full length and its not a bad rewrite. on the other if the theme is the best this show has to offer that doesn't mean much. You know opening themes rarely if ever fully represent the entirety of the show, Especially these days.

I've heard that while his behavior was as atrocious as described, he had less to do with the show ending than reported. He certainly creeped out Tress MacNeille though.
He had NO bearing on tiny toons ending at all. Spielberg and Co felt 65 syndicated episodes and three seasons was a good enough run and decided to move on to the successor Animaniacs. It was just a coincidence one of the first lolcows with a sick obsession was posting poems and stories how badly he wanted to fuck Fifi le feume was creeping out the cast and crew once word about his behavior got back to him. He MAY have been the inspiration behind the please get a life foundation guy, but no one's ever confirmed that for sure.

Although most of the staff working on Tiny Toons (and some staff from Batman TAS) would later move on to do Freakazoid as well in the mid 90s

I'm going to a Comic Con this weekend to see Rob Paulsen and Maurice LaMarche. I'm pretty much testing them seeing if they're secret groomers. I hope to God, Jebsus and Superman they aren't. They might say something to me because of the Billy West thing. This might be epic or nothing burger depending on what happens.

Reported this post to my superiors at the Bureau, they'll decide if it constitutes a credible threat

And said quirky little yellow sidekicks have two movies of their own. And it's safe to say that despite the quality of those movies, Illumination still does well, and it's all because of not only marketing, but also they're not politically woke.
Fuck Illumination. I'll never forgive them for butchering the lorax and the grinch.

If the only alternative for my kids are woke propaganda and ADHD so-random screen vomit then I'll just stick to the old shit.

This is why I've find a lot of stuff on VHS or DVD and even see old vintage stuff online

The Netflix Castlevania: Nocturne trailer is out:

Two things come to mind watching it:

1. I see the ESG checks were cashed with the new character being a black vampire hunter
2. I get a sense that a major through line of the season will be about class issues since it appears the vampires are acting as French nobility during the time of the French Revolution. I do not trust the writers to stick the landing.
