The funny thing is, the last thing troons want to do is to equate their "struggles" to that of religious groups.

I have an issue about the use of the word "genocide" in 99% of cases.
Attempted genocide is a thing, absolutely, that's what the Tutsi were victims of, but genocide?

As anyone that thought about the word for a second knows, it literally means "to kill the genes" geno - cide. Much like how homicide mens "to kill a man".
By that definition, most of the events we talk about being "genocides" are in fact... not genocides. The genes are still there, and the people that were victims of that event are still there to talk (and whine) about it, so by definition it was not a genocide. I cannot give examples because it is illegal to do so.
Much like you cannot be the victim of a homicide if... you're still alive. Attempted homicide? Absolutely.

So even if we don't pedantically argue about the proper use of the word "genocide" for those mass-murder events targeting a particular ethnicity, the issue cannot be avoided with the trans.
As far as we know, the trans are not a race, not an ethnicity, and do not have genes in common. There are trans-identified individuals of all races, ethnicities, sexes, etc.

Even if we killed them all, it couldn't possibly be called a genocide. No "gene" was wiped out.
