The rise of sexlessness in men is the result of several compounding societal issues no one wants to resolve and will likely end in disaster because they're not being addressed by anyone who wants to fix them. A third of people (in the US) are unemployed. I repeat: a third of people (in the US) are unemployed (unemployment rate is something else entirely and obviously fudged for the reigning president to look good). A good deal of that , averages being what they are, is men who are likely disenfranchised from a society where it's okay to shit on men for simply being born with a penis. Yeah, and it has been just that, fearmongering. Populations boom in developing countries and stabilize in developed ones. People have lots of kids in places where kids die off, and stop having kids once they don't. Humans do have a self regulating mechanism when it comes to population.

The only thing that could be construed as an overpopulation issue is giving africa aid to help kids there survive without giving them infastructure to maintain said kids resulting in them exceeding their infastructure's carrying capacity which is (one of the reasons) why africa is stuck in a perpetual rut its unable to get out of.

When the west becomes unable to support africa its population will also stabilize.
