Patrick Sean Tomlinson / @stealthygeek / "Torque Wheeler" / @RealAutomanic / Kempesh / Padawan v2.5 - "Conservative" sci-fi author with TDS, armed "drunk with anger management issues" and terminated parental rights, actual tough guy, obese, paid Quasi, paid thousands to be repeatedly unbanned from Twitter

There are a lot of ways to avoid a contempt of court charge. Don't just tell the judge to go fuck himself and claim you don't owe any money despite it being obviously on the record that you do.
If Dan actually is in attendance I think it guarantees he gets charged with contempt. If no atalker children are there he can pretend like he controls the narrative like he tried to do with the Nadolski lolsuit. If Dan's there he will feel he can't admit the truth in front of him and will child the judge. Either that or he'll skip the hearing entirely to avoid being put in this no-win position which of course will get him a bench warrant which will be executed the next time someone swats him.

Does Patrick have a lawyer? This is the kind of self-snitching people who don't have lawyers do. His lawyer would've told him not to say anything about the court case on Twitter, because he might say some stupid shit like "I'm never going to pay the court fees" and "I have the money to pay the court fees and I simply don't intend to pay them" and other shit that gets you in trouble.

IIRC, piggy had a lawyer, who dropped his ass after Fat repeatedly ignored his advice and tarded out nonstop.

Lawyer or no lawyer, he would need the humility to listen to someone else's advice.

While the chances of Fatrick being thrown in jail for contempt are almost as small as his IQ, penis, or talent, the very fact that its even a remote possibillity is fucking hilarious. I hope dan or one of the other brothermen really does attend the contempt hearing, if only so the (hopefully) audio transcript can record The Niggeroni Maker's spergout. But lets be honest, him actually leavibg the hearing in cuffs would be just too damned good for this clownworld. It would in fact be absolute proof that God exists, and he would never prove his existence as it would invalidate faith.

I think he turned Fatty Fatness over to Satan years ago. Even God has only so much patience.

I'm here from MATI and the feature, and I'm trying to figure out what the lawsuit against Quasi was. I've read the OP and skimmed the thread since the featured post, but I can't find it. I think it was a failed deformation suit against a troll, but I'm not sure and want to ask.
Here is information on the lolsuit (Onion link). The short version: Patrick, probably under legal advice from the SFWA, sued Kiwi Farms, ONA Forums, and Encyclopaedia Dramatica for identifying user information (names, email, phone number, etc.) so he could go after them. $100,000 of the SFWA's money later, he dropped the lolsuit. The judge then ruled that he owes Quasi $23,000, with interest, for the fees Quasi incurred defending himself and his users. Patrick refused to pay, and he now owes Quasi over $54,000. Due to Patrick threatening to not pay what he owes, Quasi has filed a motion to hold Patrick in contempt, which was granted. Patrick has to go before a judge on August 24th to face his contempt charges.

You are now caught up with Patrick's court case against Quasi.

Prediction: Rick will file for bankruptcy prior to the contempt hearing. He will appear for the hearing, apologize for disobeying the court, and be held in contempt. He will be sanctioned attorney's fees. (As a caveat, if Dan or any other funsters are in attendance, Rick will ask the judge to remove the stalker childs. If the judge rightly denies this, Rick may explode and wind up neutralized by the bailiffs.)

Paying Quasi means the idiots won. Admitting to a protestor that the debt exists means the idiots won. Letting the idiots win is intolerable to Rick. He will avoid this at any cost. We have seen, however, that Rick can admit the debt exists so long as the admission is not to a protestor. He did this in several interviews and the Twitter thread. He will do the same at the contempt hearing.

The amortization plan would have required paying Quasi. Someone else, Lynne or Nikkki, must have suggested it, and the cowardly Rick played along until time came to actually arrange payments. Then Rick bailed, ducking through alleyways to the nearest bar.

Rick is in check right now. His only move is bankruptcy. If successful, the debt to Quasi would be completely discharged. All the deleterious consequences of bankruptcy - the things a sane man would consider - are irrelevant. If the debt is discharged, the idiots lost. Quasi could defend against this gambit by moving for a dismissal due to the bankruptcy being in bad faith. This would be a lengthy and costly process. If that were unsuccessful, he would try to recoup some of his money rather than total discharge. No matter the eventual outcome, bankruptcy means Rick avoids checkmate at the contempt hearing.

I hope I'm wrong, for Quasi's sake, and Rick shows up with a check from Lynne for the total amount. I just don't think it's possible. Rick has literally ruined his life not letting the idiots win, there's no reason to think he will change course now.

I thought these kind of debts can't be discharged in bankruptcy, in part to stop that sort of thing. Maybe something like chapter 11 and have it reorganized, but having it discharged I thought was a no go.

@Caverlock wrote a masterful OP (and then some). Instead of throwing around demands for edits, it would be more useful and respectful to ask how you can help add a Quasi-related update to the OP. Show some respect to the one who brought us this far.
I'd like to use your post for something pretty fucking gay, but I feel is necessary:

@Caverlock I just want to say thanks man. If it weren't for you taking the time to write this shit, I would have never heard of Pat. Yes, he's just a retard online, living thousands of miles away from me, and ultimately, absolutely inconsequential to my life. But the truth is Pat has brought me more joy than 99% of people I know in real life, and it is all thanks to you my man.

Oh, and I didn't forget the hell he made you go through because of this OP. I hope the hell he has put himself through these last years has somehow brought you at least some degree of satisfaction. Don't forget: he suffers because of his own actions, but it is our mocking (Ona + 5 million and counting here!) that fuels his stupid ODD and makes him jump. Cheers, Cave!

Now, to less gay things! Pat tax:
Rick had to sneak in one more reply:

At least a mod should add a link to payquasi.lol or something. Its a really good OP, there is just a bit of fatrick lore missing.
Let me now if I can help.

Dan is batshit crazy, I love the lengths the man is willing to go to get Pat mad!

I'm proud of Pete, he did what only a handful of people on earth who dealt with Rick in any capacity are capable of doing, he is simply ignoring him. What a gentle soul.

Edit: If Dan really manages to do all that he not only deserves to be blown in front of the jacuzzi but also in front of every single one of his five sinks. I'd be fine with just getting audio from the hearing, though.

I maintain manlet should be reserved for men who are less than the halfway mark on the way to the woman's average.
A manlet is anyone who gets pissed off if you call him short.
All of his problems could easily stem from ODD if he has it.
I hate to get gay and pedantic, well okay that's a lie, I love it, but ODD is a childhood disorder. If it continues into adulthood it has less salubrious terms for it like sociopathy.

Also, given what he did with the Chapter 128 he filed and then blew off, I doubt any bankruptcy judge will allow him to file any kind of bankruptcy while the attempt to collect a debt proceeds since it would be seen as a transparent attempt to dodge the judgement, as he has done before and validate the disrespect he has demonstrated to the court.

Any judge? Wrong as always, stalker child, in the mean streets of outside Rick's house, there is only one kind of law, the law of Judge Fatt, who is judge, jury, executioner, and artisanal butcher. You have already been sentenced to tonight's pepperoni, wait for the shot, child. Or you could probably just get away at a leisurely walking pace since he's so fat.
