I think my profile pic perfectly sums up my reaction to this...
On one hand, I have to ask how fucking far did this show stray from its humble beginnings as a quirky cartoon about a sponge living in a fish society.

On the other hand, this shit would absolutely be in character for Bubblebass in modern day (practically a fish redditor) and depending on how the episode goes it could be an absolute riot.

MY NAME IS PATRICK STAR
AND I AM PROUD TO BE
MY NAME IS CLEVELAND BROWN.png

It works to the point you are forced to remember this is a children's cartoon and instead being made for stunted weirdos on twitter.
It doesn't work at all. What kids alive right now would be aware of the angry critic schtick that was popular back when James Rolfe still had hair? This reads like the show's production team clapping back at the darn dirty trolls who haven't actually said anything yet & probably won't ever say anything or even exist because who expects a brand to have dignity in 2023?

"Anyone who disagrees with my politics deserves violence!"
Where’s that Samuel Johnson picture and quote on how much he hates Rosseau (Philosopher who basically started the whole people are inherently good, I dindu nuffin sheeeeet) when I’m on mobile.

The mark of an educated man is being willing the entertain ideas. I can entertain a lunchtime rowdy might’ve curb stomped a 80 year-old man out of emotional distress from being called a nigger, but I can also call bullshit on their story based upon other fucking factors.
Truth is not something anyone has ownership of. It’s not that relative.

I honestly did not think SpongeBob would get tainted so hard that they have to sexualize the cartoon through the form of a Patrick Star spinoff.

What happened to the good ol’ days when Patrick trying to copy his best friend was a simple, yet fun idea?

I just can not imagine Stephen Hillenburg co-signing this, since he loved the idea of marine biology being taught to children, and instead we now get “Sandy is vore” and “Bubblebass subplot that just has to involve the writer‘s barely contained fetish” on screen for kids to see.

I’m speaking the obvious, but this is nuts.

They aren't black but they sure do LOVE talking about black issues like they're some kind of guardian angel.
They don't see black people as people. I'm convinced of this.
They'll say they do, but in their heart of hearts they treat black people like some kind of animal, maybe a pitbull.
That's why they get so mad when you expect someone to behave a certain way; to their eyes is cruelty. It's like you're a circus ringleader making a bear ride a bike.

That’s why I distinguish my worldview by simply saying I’ll associate with blacks but not niggers. It really is saddening to know they pretend to care when there are legitimate problems that need solving. I do feel bad about a lot of the bad neighborhoods but especially with guys like Seth Rogen and other Cali-fags they prop it up in their media as “culture”. Same with trailer trash, it’s not culture it’s degradation.

I mean, LA has always been a zoo. They only treat race, religion and gays as more like animals.
