•Well HULLO!
•Hi!
•I have some… BK is my favorite and it’s been a few days since I had BK so… actually it’s been more than a week.
•So let’s get to let’s get to.
•THEY HAVE REALLY GOOD DEALS AT THE BURGER KING HERE IN KUWAIT. BULLSHIT
•So. I will take advantage of thattt.
•French fries, chicken sandwich, cheeseburger, chicken fries w/barbecue sauce, regular coke.
•Of course this comes to around 10 or 11 weight watchers points.
•
CHEERS!
•OKAY!
•So, bismillah! Thank you so much for this food!
•I love chicken fries with barbecue.
•Mmm.
•Mmmm ketchup and Mayo.
•Coca-cola.
•So. What’s up goize.
•Today what I’m gonna talk about: this whole Snow White movie fiasco.
•Initially when I heard about it, I’m like why are they changing it so much? You know? But then I looked more into it.
•A lot of people are like oooutraged becuzz they’re like ‘this woke culture is getting ridiculous’ you know?
•But when you think abooout it, older Disney movies do have like a bahd rahp of using racial stereotypes and just stereotypes in general.
•So they’re trying to you know move away from thaht. And they’re damned if they do and they’re damned if they don’t becuzz look at the reception they’re getting you know? heh heh already!
•Now, here’s the thing:
•I’m on the edge of my fucking lawn chair.
•
The the the person Rachel Zegler the actress that played Snow White. She’s Hispanic. Now the most important thing about the description of Snow White - which is literally in the name - is thaht she has pale skin; skin as white as snow, red lips, bluh bluh bluh red as a rose…
•The person playing, like Rachel Zegler has pale skin so she’s white. Like she looks white to me. Ya know?
•So her in white - Snow White being white skin - I mean there’s people from different cultures who are white-skinned, right? So…
•<VOICE OVER>
•And I haff to say, if you look at the history of Disney princesses, most of them were white or Caucasian. So it is nice to see them reinventing the Disney Princess basically with involving all cultures - beautiful women from all cultures and races.
•<END VO>
•HEH! Doesn’t really matter.
•The seven dwarfs - the way they portray the dwarfs in the old movie, in the thirties, made people with dwarfism, ya know, people painted them in a light that made it seem more unintelligent…
•To me, the dwarfs, don’t really seem like human people. Were they supposed to be human? In the story? Like, I think they’re just sposed to be short creatures, not human, not saying anything about people with dwarfism, ya know?
•So I dunno, I think that can be argued.
•But how they chose to go about the seven dwarfs are like… there’s a freaking hippie.
•What the heck!
•And there is still one individual with dwarfism in there!
•So why not give more people with dwarfism jobs? More actors with dwarfism? I dunno.
•Like, I get the reasoning. The problem is, I get both sides of the argument now.
•I see what Disney’s doing.
•Bitch, you have some things still to learn about Snow White and Disney. Disney did
NOT create or write “
Snow White” - it was a very early (1812) German Grimm’s fairy tale that was adapted for the screen by Disney. Walt Disney himself was born nearly a century after the story was published.
•At first I was like, uh.. I don’t- it’s not a Dis- it’s not Snow White. Because for me, I hahve the nostalgia of growing up with, ya know, the “cartoon” .
•THEN GO FUCKING WATCH YOUR VHS COPY OF THE 1937 “CARTOON” FILM YOU FAT FUCKING CUNT WHORE.
•Slurp smack lick swallow kill me
•So I’m okay now, I mean I don’t mind the actors being from a different culture… uhm, whatever different race, I mean who cares about that.
•She’s still white. She’s Hispanic but she’s white. She has white skin.
•So what you’re saying, you racist piece of garbage, is that she’s Hispanic, but light enough to “
pass.” Do I have that right? You’re okay with this Hispanic actress playing Snow White, because she’s light-skinned? Got it.
•I see what they’re doing with the, the, the seven dwarfs.
•Okay. Now there’s another part of the argument…
•I put barbecue sauce on my burger.
•I love barbecue sauce. I’m sorry.
•I like licking my fingers!
•MMMMMM!
•So a lot of people are like… I don’t get people! I think people just like to argue. Becuzz women have been striving, and enjoying Girl Boss movies, forever now.
•Jump cut to wipe her filthy snout.
•Ya know the actress was like ‘It’s not 1937 anymore…Snow White’s gonna save herself; she doesn’t need a prince…
•Jesus. The size of that hand is mind-boggling.
•You know, she’s not the helpless Damsel in Distress anymore…and people are arguing that! On TikTok like, one woman was like ‘maybe I WANT to be saved by my huzzband! My huzzband completes me, blah blah blah.
•Okay. My opinion? You should be a complete person on your own. I know that seems weird coming from someone who’s “married” HEH!
•<text on screen> I HAVE FACIAL TICS AND I AM TIRED OF HIDING THEM.
•Bitch we knew that seven years ago.
•
I… <jump cut>
I’m still an independent person on my own. Ya know?
•BITCH WHAT
•I’m not helpless - as a woman. And I think that’s what they were trying to go for.
•Some of the criticisms, like, I get but I also get what the movie’s going for. So.
•It seems like people want… a real traditional Snow White movie. But I think of they did thaht, people would be crying about the stereotypes! Heh
•And the fahct that it’s outdated for society’s standard nowadays, and it probably is, ya know?
•She’s literally dunking her finger in the barbecue sauce and licking it off. I’m gonna hurl.
•The movie made in 1937 and the attitudes and standards of 1937. But it’s 2023, so you have to expect some change. I get that now. HMM.
•MMM
•So.
•I still don’t think I’m gonna watch it.
•Dunks her sleeve in barbecue sauce.
•HO HEEE HEE!
•I remember Peetz saying this before, and he’s so right. Sometimes childhood movies, and and stories, are just not enjoyable without the nostalgia. Because the story for me is not going to be nostalgic so I don’t think I’ll enjoy it HEH!
•YA KNOW?
•The SPICEEEEE chicken sandwich. Chicken ROYAL. Mmm.
•OH MY FUCKING GOD QUIT RAPING YOUR FOOD FOR THE CAMERA. WE KNOW WHAT THE INSIDES OF A CHICKEN SANDWICH LOOK LIKE. Goddamnit!
•I haff to agree with that.
•ANYWAY.
•I see all sides of it. HEH!
•Ya know?
•Ya know I kinda respect Disney for not wanting to repeat the pahst with thaht.
•Ya know?
•So.
•They have “Oppenheimer” out in the theaters here. It’s PG13; dunno if it was in Canada or the US. It’s a looong movie! Three hours?
•So she looked up the movie; she and Salad-boy must be going to go see it.
•
I dunno if I have an interest in the atomic bomb… to be honest.
•Of course you don’t. It’s not about food, AND it’s about history, which we know holds zero interest for you.
•But… it’s gotten like 94% on Rotten Tomatoes.
•…rating from critics 93% from audience which is good… sometimes there’s a big disparity between the two. Big difference.
•Look at me using big words.
•No.
•HEH HEH!
•I haff the same problem with the Barbie movie, like… they’re bringing things from the 80s that I hahd nostalgia about as a kid. Um.
•Barbie was a toy like for me it wasn’t… I dunno.
•The new Barbie movie from the trailer doesn’t give me any nostalgia so.
•I wonder if the Beetlejuice - they’re working on a Beetlejuice2 movie - they’ve been working on it forever, but. And they’re actually setting up the set where they filmed the original one I think it’s in Vermont? Like the Maitlands’ hardware store and it’s really really beautiful state.
•wat
•So if they’re actually filming, that would be amazing. Unless. It’s very different from the first. I dunno.
•But Beetlejuice is such a clahssic, ya know. It’s gonna be hard to one-up that one. HEH!
•Thaht movie has a lot of nostalgia for me becuzz I loved that movie growing up. One of my favorites.
•I was a weird kid. I liked creepy things even bahck then.
•Are you afraid of the dark? It’s a Canadian show, but… unsolved mysteries… Robert Stack was my granddad growing up… in my home.
•I did see my grandfather a lot. But like in my home, Robert Stack’s voice was always a comfort. Ya know?
•Sure. Throw Chantal in front of
Unsolved Mysteries with a Costco-sized economy container of pudding cups, and you won’t hear a peep outta her.
•
Whew!
•Anyway. This is what happens when I let myself get too hungry, but that was so good. The spicy chicken burger from BK! GASP!
•The fries from BK aren’t bahd. For fast-food fries.
•The worst fast food fries are Wendy’s I hate their fries.
•Anyway, so!
•Lemme know your thoughts, respectfully having a constructive debate in comments is always welcomed!
•When the comments are turned on you mean?
•We can share differences of opinions without attacking each other?
•And, uh, yeah.
•I was having fun on TikTok waiting for my food to get here; trying all the different trends I hate so much HEE HEE HEE.
•Some of them are fun. Some of the filters. So check that out if you want…
•Thanks.
•And, uh, yeah, so…
•Anyways, um, I guess that’s it.
•Yeah. That’s my opinion. I don’t really have a strong one, you know looking more into it I get their reasoning now, so ANYWAY.
•Boye goize.
I hate her.
