Just Stop Oil - A conglomerate of unwashed, pseudoscience-pedalling, virtue-signalling, middle-class cunts.

"when he talked about his three week imprisonment. "I found this was a traumatic experience for Xavier, one Xavier had struggled to come to terms with,"
LMFAO WHAT?!?!?!
this was a baby who had never been confronted with real violence before, people who yes are willing to break your nose for seemingly no reason if you dont give them your belongings they request
it can be a confronting world to meet, for him to have that reaction he must have been hiding in his cell the entire time
when you mix and mingle with others the stigma of prisons eases off a bit
"But in HMP Thameside one cellmate is alleged to have "constantly antagonised him" by jabbing a vape pen in his face. "He had a breakdown in Thameside prison. Someone came to chat to him and he was given a book on Sudoku," Xavier's mum said. "He was anxious about future prison sentences he faced."
LMFAO OH COME ON NOW, is this guy seriously saying the worst he got was a few jabs with a vape pen, and after he cried about it someone came and gave him a book of Sudoku? that last part doesnt surprise me, happens from time to time, prisoner sees another prisoner getting fucked with, they wont stop it, but theyll try and soothe the wound after and offer advice
Prison in the UK is that bad and Thameside is pretty cushty. As far as Cat B prisons go, he's very lucky he didn't end up in somewhere like HMP Winchester. He would've died a lot sooner. I have a pretty strong feeling he ran his mouth, had a massive ego and got humbled very quickly.

He lived like a prick, he died like a prick and that's all he'll ever be. I have no sympathy for his parents, they raised a moron.

"Who says cricket is legal. CHECKMATE JUDGE"
Three Just Stop Oil activists who ran onto the pitch during the second Ashes Test appear to have denied disrupting the cricket match by claiming there is no evidence the game was lawful.
Daniel Knorr, 21, a biochemistry student from the University of Oxford, was tackled by England wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow when he ran onto the pitch at Lord’s cricket ground on Jun 28.
Bairstow carried Mr Knorr across the outfield to cheers from the crowd and was praised by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak for his actions.
Mr Knorr, along with Judit Murray, 69, and Jacob Bourne, 26, denied obstructing or disrupting a person engaged in a lawful activity when they appeared at Westminster magistrates’ court on Monday.
Hussain Hassan, representing all three, said: “We dispute trespassing on the basis that no evidence has been served that shows the property is private property and it would have to be private property in order to be trespassing.”

Reading the defence statement, District Judge Louisa Ciecióra said: “The cricket match was unlawful, is that what you’re suggesting? Are you seriously challenging whether the cricket match was lawfully taking place or not?”
Mr Hussan replied: “I have not had evidence served before me that would cause me to accept that.”
The defence lawyer also questioned whether the actions of the three represented actual disruption.
He said: “It’s been suggested that the cricket match was stopped for a matter of minutes. Again on the CCTV evidence that’s referred to, it’s for the Crown to prove that the activity of the cricket match was disrupted.”
The judge replied: “Saying it’s for the Crown to provide everything is not narrowing down the issues of the case.”
Mr Hassan went on: “There are circumstances where one could enter the field of play without the match being disrupted.

“There hasn’t been evidence adduced to this point. The match was played and carried on notwithstanding any disruption that did take place.”
The three defendants are now due to stand trial at City of London magistrates’ court on 28 Sept.

There are circumstances where one could enter the field of play without the match being disrupted.
One of the players literally had to carry your client off the fucking field, and then the groundstaff had to come on and clean up after them, but for sure there was no disruption. I know that everyone, no matter how much of a cunt deserves legal representation, and that a lawyer's job is to do the best they can, with what they have. Despite all that however I can't help but feel the average lawyer deserves to be put up against the fucking wall.

I had the intense misfortune of being in London a couple of months back. Thankfully we didn't get stuck behind these lunatics but we did drive past some unlucky souls who were. Literally the first few vehicles trapped behind them were 2 Teslas, A EV-Ford, A bus and an ambulance.

The Irony was not lost on me, but I fear it was on them.

I had no idea this group was such a persistent nuisance. The videos of them getting attacked do provide wonderful schadenfreude though. Their cause isn't a total loss.

I wonder if they're already trying to argue that no activity can be legal because it creates a carbon footprint and thus harms others. That WILL be tried at some point.

I mean the arguments deployed here seem to JUST be stalling retardation, but....

A few years ago I would've retorted that no one would ever earnestly believe something so demented, but then I think back to early 2020 and all the people who believed that leaving the house without a good reason or not following an arrow sticker in a supermarket made you a murderer and now my expectations are basically nonexistent.

This Is Rigged, which appears to be one of JSOs many retarded children, have glued themselves to the road to disrupt that most polluting of sport *checksnotes* cycling:
Five people have been arrested after a protest halted the Men's Elite Road Race at the UCI Cycling World Championships in Scotland.
The event was paused with just over 190km (118 miles) of the 271km (168 miles) remaining, with the Edinburgh to Glasgow route blocked west of Falkirk.
The demonstration took place on a narrow stretch of the B818 near the Carron Valley Reservoir.
Police said five people were arrested after the protesters were removed.
Environmental group This Is Rigged claimed responsibility for the demonstration and said four of its activists were involved.
It was reported that protesters glued themselves to the road.
The race was paused for about 50 minutes before restarting.
As with JSO while crowing about their faggotry on Twitter they usually have a canned quote from the mongs involved and all I can say is lol. lmao even:

It's ironic because the most environmentally friendly thing for a tranny to do is to not troon out. Where do you think your HRT comes from? The fucking sunlight and trees? How sure are you that your HRT and surgeries don't pollute at all? And kvetch about a petrochemical company funding the sport but ignore your dickchop funding the medical-industrial complex.

There is now a new group called 'This Is Rigged' who quickly became the ire for Cyclists in Glasgow this weekend just gone.

There's also (allegedly) a newer group with a Celtic sounding name (Gan Ordu?) who have threatened violence against the Tories as well as people who mock JSO, Extinction Rebellion as well as the Trans community and Wokeness in general.

Probably just Antifa UK rebranded...

Glory to the Petrochemical Industry. Long may it prosper.

All these groups with a dozen or so members. If they joined forces they could probably break 100.

I've been thinking about the mindset behind things like pushing for net zero. It's not so much a thing now, but older generations in Britain used to have entire rooms of their houses that they didn't even use. The room would be immaculate, all the furnishings would always have the covers on them, if their kids or any visitors accidentally went into the room they'd be scolded. Why did they do this? Because they were saving the room "for best". This hypothetical scenario where if they needed to impress someone with a perfectly unused room, they would.

But that's the thing, nothing was ever good enough "for best". If the vicar came around for tea, that wasn't good enough. If it were a special celebration like a birthday or an anniversary, that wasn't good enough. If it were a holiday like Christmas or Easter, that wasn't good enough. So the room just sat there, unused, until the owner of the house died and the house was demolished by the council to make way for a drive-through Costa Coffee or whatever else. It was a bizarre form of national neuroticism that went by unacknowledged but unopposed. Personally, I find it hard not to draw a comparison between this mindset, and the mindset that we should stop driving cars, stop eating meat, stop flying, etc. to save the Earth. That the Earth isn't our home for us to live in, but something we must carefully preserve. That instead of simply going about our business in it, that we need to save it "for best".

They're at it again. Disrupting a showing of Les mis on the west end. I guess they've realised it's election season.

5 arrested. Not found the video yet.

Edit: didn't notice this at the time. Chris packham advocates for blowing up oil refineries.

Chris Packham however does not advocate for (someone else) blowing up his own house.
