How can one privately urge people to not work with those kinds of people if John himself has never known what it is like to be an effective team leader on anything that requires him to work a real job which does not bring him shame?

Rebellion ScamPAC dropped the latest fundraising report yesterday. Of note:

  • They started with around $29k cash on hand, raised $66k, and spent $75k leaving around $20k in the bank for the second half of the year.
  • As always, very few of the money went to anything political. There was a $3000 expenditure to a Progress Libs group in March for field work. This lines up with the Wisconsin judge election that she claimed was won because of all her canvassing.
  • Another $11k was spent on polling in May, but either the results have yet to be posted or Wu didn’t like the result. There is no mention anywhere of a poll done by rebellion.
  • $30k went to Digital Strategy Group LLC which as mentioned before is a consultant grifting Wu for doing fuck all.
  • They are also spending almost $3000 a month on NGP Van, some sort of software.
  • The rest of the money was spent on accounting firms, legal fees, a $2500 refund and the rest on credit card processing and bank fees.

These two go together, NGPVan is the Democratic Party voter database. These are just complete wastes of money by John because what Rebellion PAC does has no need for polling data or voter data. Running ads on Facebook for the "hot election on Twitter" of the moment requires absolutely none of this information. Microtargeting of John's ads is far stupider than blasting the entire state.

I know why he's doing this, he wants to claim he has sophisticated techniques for boosting turnout because that was all the rage when he ran for office. (Even though Hillary lost doing it, and barely beat Bernie doing it in the primaries, and the Biden campaign refused to listen to the consultants still pushing it.) But anybody actually interested in this is going to have someone look at his numbers if they get past John's laziness and I bet the numbers he's got are useless garbage and I know John can't comprehend them.

Pinball FX makes virtual pinball tables so they could do whatever they want with the table. Reality does not apply and there's already several pinball RPGs/adventures out there going back to the NES and maybe earlier.

There's also some real hybrid-tables like this weird Baby Pac-Man table from 1983. Two playfields, one pinball, the other pacman. I don't remember the specifics because I've never played it but if the ball was launched up high the Pac-Man game started, the player could then flee that game down into the pinball field if things got too hairy. Or maybe that happened when eaten by ghosts? I'm too lazy to look it up.

There's a couple of more in that style, like Granny and the Gators which is the only other one I can remember.

So there is precedent for making weird and creative shit even with physical pinball tables and I don't see why current manufacturers can't expand on that idea using current technology. Slap an OLED or LCD on there and the backboard doesn't need to be fat enough to hold a CRT. It's not like they have to balance it for arcade length play either because they're all going to be bought by home users. The sky is the limit.
