Worth noting that this move hasn't actually been as well received by the Brazilian left as you would think. We have some old school commies who still like guns who hate it, but a bigger thorn on Lula's side is the fact that most of his base is made up of people interested in gibs not performative actions like this. This move only offers easy ammo for his opponents while sacrificing political power that he needs to pass his other bullshit.

I think there's enough dirt on the table to prevent biden from running again. The problem is that the dems did not plan for him to go out this way, so they are still running damage control until they have a narrative in place. the moment the dems universally condem anyone on their own team they've got a replacement lined up.

The situation in africa is also getting really interesting. Id love to see the optics and excuses for sending troops to kill black people. They'll pull it off somehow but it would be entertaining. And last I checked its not that remote a possibility with them refusing flights to the U.S air base in the area.
