Nothing is going to happen with these indictments. They all start the same, with fire and brimstone and threats of life in prison. Time passes, and when the dust clears in court, nothing will happen to Trump. He's clearly going to be the GOP nominee. Democrats' last hope was for Ron DeSantis to catch fire, but Republicans don't want to fight the culture wars. They want solutions to very real problems and Trump is the only candidate offering that. Everything he said the democrats and news media were doing, he was right about. Every attack makes trump look stronger for continuing to withstand it.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to completely disagree on both points.

1. This is an unprecedented action, and given the judge in this case and the venue there can be no doubt what the outcome of the trial will be. They'll convict him on paper for all these laughable charges, but in reality they'll convict him for being the Republican opposition candidate. And they don't fucking care if everyone else can see that.

2. Fighting the culture wars are, unfortunately, part of solving the very real problems we're facing. The troons/alphabet groups and other woke forces are the cultural shock troops of the Oligrarchs, and many of the problems we're facing are the result of imposing by fiat an "untouchable" status to them.

the mushy blues are pissed about too much abortion law, the abortion obsessed red freaks are pissed because not enough abortion law, lot of regular red and moderates are pissed because he literally bailed on the state to go campaign
