Slightly late to the party on this one, but out of curiosity I took a look at the file wrappers for the two patents listed on Dylan's LinkedIn page before it got taken down. The first one was rejected after being abandoned (i.e., there were problems with the application that the applicants didn't correct in time), but the second one was granted on April 12 of this year.

Interestingly, Dylan wasn't originally listed as one of the inventors on the original application – he was added on October 29 of last year. The declaration filed on that date shows that Dylan's legal name is now apparently "Dylan Ray Häs", at least as of October 29, 2021, since declarations to the USPTO must be filed under one's legal name. Screen cap below for proof. (All of this information is publically available at https://portal.uspto.gov/pair/PublicPair)

You can see the granted patent with his name listed as an inventor here.

Nothing really all that exciting – patent filings don't exactly make for riveting reading (lol) – but I just thought I'd put it on record.

EDIT: His legal name is still listed as "Dylan Hafertepen" on the abandoned application that was filed on Sept. 4, 2018, just for extra proof that he definitely changed his name sometime between then and Oct. 29, 2021.

- "dylan ray has" is mentioned as an alias on the white pages listing for "dylan hafertepen". the rainier valley, seattle, washington location corresponds with the maynard avenue address in the op, as well as the zip code on his voter registration. the listing also includes "daniel balderas" (dylan's legal husband) as a relative.

- there is no voter registration for "dylan ray has" in washington, oregon, or california, but there is an "active" registration for "dylan ray hafertepen". according to the secretary of state website, in washington state, voter registration only remains "active" if the person has voted in the most recent election (which was november 7th, 2022). the registration also lists the zip code as 98104, which is one of the zip codes for south maynard avenue.
