Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Devil's Adovocate here.

How many nations around Russia hate Russia so much to join in this lunacy lol.

What did you Russians do?
From my experiences in Russia, they work hard, drink hard, remain happy in miserable circumstances, and don't tolerate pedofags.

That's serious ragefuel to the west.

It's fucking Clown World War out there. You have African Mercenaries on both sides, Neo-Nazi Hohols and Neo-Nazi Vatniks, Chechens on both sides, NATO SpecOps on UA and Iranian and Chinese "observers" on the RU side, Taliban showing up to watch, Syrian leftovers on UA and Syrian Assad on the RU.

Nothing makes sense.
Don't forget about Wagner's leader going through his Big Boss character arc and having a fun adventure in Africa.

Well, historically, Russia has done a moderate amount of tomfoolery with its neighbours, specially with the Turks which they've had like 178 million different wars with them, during the last one before WW1 the Ruskies could've potentially anhilated the Ottomans which prompted the Britbongs and Frenchies to intervene on behalf of the Turks.

Has there been any information about ex-Ukraine mercs mercing for Russia? Actually, outside of Wagner, do we know any mercenary units in Russian ranks?
The DPR attracted a lot of foreigners but Russia had them crack down on that before the SMO so they're mostly gone now. Rusich has some pan Slavs in their ranks from Serbia and Poland. Maybe there are some former AFU working for Russia but if so its not made public, for obvious reasons. There's probably more than a few foreigners working for Russia but they maintain better OPSEC than Tik Tok addicted hohols so an answer would take some digging.

Well Fox News talked to "Dub" and "Pikachu" about the war.

What interesting codenames.

Ukraine troops admit Russia tougher than expected as counteroffensive crawls ahead (Archive)

"They methodically destroyed the roads," a 24-year-old Ukrainian soldier called "Dub" explained. "They made pits that prevented driving in and out of the village, even in dry weather. Even walking was quite hard. You can’t use flashlights at night, but you still have to advance."

Another soldier calling himself Pikachu said Ukraine’s forces advance "slowly but surely."

I was wondering how many of the Turkish mercs are Circassians hoping to finally get a little revenge as a little joke to myself but then I came upon this article from late last year: LINK

Interesting doesn't sound like they want to die in the Ukraine over something that happened 150 years ago in the Caucuses. Who would have guessed?

Finally, much to my surprise Google tells me US citizens can serve in most non-US militaries without any worries about citizenship issues. It looks like you could even be on the Russian side, since there's no overt hostilities.
You go fight in the 719th Ossetian Battalion, I'm pretty sure you'd get looked at far differently by the US' security apparatus at the very least. Not 100% sure the DOJ wouldn't try to indict you.

Not enough rainbows in the world for that

I'd give Crimea to the Turks just to watch the Holhols scream.

A common stereotype of war seems to revolve around two teams, in reality the schism is similar to all the tribal warfare in South Sudan and Papua New Guinea.

I don't think I've seen these drone footage posted here kinda old but w/e

And more footage from August

(Also I added a few videos to the mega nz I posted previously if anyone was interested)

I was speaking theoretically. 🤷‍♂️ I have no doubt you'd wind up on somebody's list, magically find yourself unbankable, unemployable and reduced to living in a van down by the river.

And I'll be quite honest, I'm hardly the biggest fan of the Putin regime. I have zero interest in putting my life on the line to defend it. It is just that I am less of a fan of the forces lined up in opposition.

Total Türkiye world kebabification!

Erdrogan's six limbed uberroachdats are on their way to not only repel the ruskies but coup the hohols.

Would be great to see hohols get türked, not going to lie. It is clown world after all!

remain happy in miserable circumstances
fundamentally this is why I have more in common with the average russian than I do my fellow peers (fellow citizens in my general age range). Fellow peers are severely mentally ill and has panic attacks over having basic social interactions or is prone to meltdowns over being "misgendered". Average russian wakes up to a shitty hand and thinks "Well it is what it is" or even thanks Jesus for another easy day and makes the best of it. I identify more with the more stoic/fatalistic russian attitude than the lunacy I see from my peers here in the states.

British intelligence reports that Ukrainian counteroffensive has stalled due to shrubbery. Guess NATO training does not cover fighting in an environment with weeds and shrubs.

To be fair, at least around these parts a field left fallow for a year and a half will have 20 foot tall saplings covering everything. I have to break out the bushhog just to get to my pond. Bit more than "weeds and shrubs", some of those trees need a chainsaw to remove. And the grass is six or seven feet tall in places.

Given how fertile Ukraine's farms are (fuckers actually sell bags of their dirt as fertilizer at Walmart, "Chernozem-something or other"), they're probably dealing with a forest thick enough to hide a line of T-72s by now.
