Hey! Sorry for the absence. The site either wouldn’t load, got kiwiflared out or was running ridiculously slow for me this last few days. Now I’m confused and forgotten what I’m supposed to be doing….I could have a go at the Barbican picture but it might not be my strong point because the cat ran off with my stylus and I’m working with fingers at the moment….I’ll see what I can do.

I’m now feeling inadequate as a human being. Often, my process to make these is to mock up a manky, rough round the edges picture and then feed it into the AI generator with the correct verbal prompt. ie “Ingrid Bergman next to Buick Enclave…..and I usually get an approximation of my original, just tidied up and more aesthetic. This time I got smashed.

This time I spent quite a time piecing together a rough picture in Photo Edit, …..(it looks a bit rough)

“But not too shabby”, I thought to myself.

Then I ran it through theDream AI with the same verbal prompt, using this picture as a guide.
Oh, boy. It’s so much better than me…….


AI did a better job on the Barbie one too. Seems to have issues with legs, though.

Photo Edit? Is that like Photoshop?

TheDream AI does her justice. I usually see her face with a square chin. Her facial expression is natural. And it's smart enough to recognize Buick as an older car in context with the timely address.

Let's try something easier. Do a letter A at the beach.

Yes. I use a free, basic photoshop ‘experience’. It’s good enough to cut out backgrounds and move a to b. You can change colours in messy way in order to influence the AI. A good example was the ‘Mario riding a bee”. I tried for ages but the ai always generated Mario riding an insect, or something from the game. So I took the picture to the edit and painted some yellow and black stripes on the mount. It was rough and messy, but when it went back through the AI it recognised a bee.

In case you're wondering of the request, I'm writing a story (with AI) about Ingrid Bergman and a Buick. I have a thread of it. I can link it once I find it. I feel the same way when I run out of memory.

See if you can combine the two elements together in a consistent art style.

Then I took these to the AI and played with art styles. I’m not sure if I’ve got what you’re going for, but like I said, give me some notes to tweak if you like.
