Nobody actively used the Steam group. I can assure you that most people who were in it are still unaware it's gone.

Why would a host agree that a site is breaking "multiple laws", "including doxing", and then not just shut it down immediately?

Not only that, I'm fairly certain is most jurisdictions the hoster would be obligated to actually report to the local authorities if they find child porn on a clients server.

They wouldn't.
He's also putting words in other people's mouths. No sane hosting company would give such an opinion in the first place. Even if their legal department did believe a customer was breaking laws, they're not going to say that to anyone who filed an abuse complaint. They'll just use "violating terms of service" as a catch all reason to pull hosting.
Vordrak does this all the time. He sends people shit and unless they publicly rebut it he then claims what he sent them to be their independent opinion/statement. We also have no idea what threats accompanied the abuse reports, but we know his past tactics and I wouldn't be surprised if they included threats of government investigation of hosting companies. Just look at what he's doing to his local police.
The upside is that every time someone "agrees" with him and takes the path of least resistance, it emboldens him. Given enough rope, he's going to hang himself (and quite possibly those who've assisted his crusade as well).
If only Vordrak put this much effort into taking down actual child porn sites he'd get - and deserve - the recognition he so desperately craves.

It's kind of fascinating watching Sam work. Predominantly because he's now complaining against the very forces he keeps trying (and failing) to utilize against his own targets.
Now, the IPCC isn't stupid (as much as Sam clearly thinks giving, as ever, his one side of the story) and will actually come over and read this thread at some point in their investigation. (They may even "go undercover" and join in the fun!)
With all the screencaps, the harassment he sent four years ago and continued today, the slapfights, the suspicion, the fact we can now easily recite that his M.O has been predominantly the same for the past four+ years and the fact that all we predominantly do is access publicly available records and use fucking google.

He is scared people will find out the truth. He's hammering everyone with every chip he has in his hand, because he needs something that will stick 100% to keep people quiet.
The problem is, his insane legal tirades and crazy ramblings are alienating people who were once on his side.
Once (and if) conclusive proof comes out of him abusing people at Ev forums, the only ones who will call it fake are the same people who have threads on this forum.
Look at the spergs over on KiA. 6 months ago they would be willing to defend him, today theres a chance a lot of those guys would believe KF over vordrak. It just says how much Sam has alienated people.
