In short, he paid his 402600 UAH bail to get out of the pre-trial detention centre. Then, he tried to cross the Chop border checkpoint, got detained, and failed to appear in court for the hearing.

The next court hearing will be on the 22nd of August. SBU is tasked with assuring CRP’s compulsory attendance. If luck will have it, expect a phonk edit of him getting vanned to the courthouse.

I suspect the “wife and kids” were long gone before the invasion. Gonzo fled on his motorcycle because he was about to have a court hearing. I believe it was the day after he posted the video or something.

He made it to the Hungarian-Ukrainian border, specifically the city of Chop in Transcarpathia Oblast on the Ukrainian side of the border. Then Gonzo tried to cross the border regularly at the checkpoint but failed. I haven't checked the full document to see if it says anything more but one can guess at this point he was detained immediately.

Soon afterwards, back in Kharkiv, they conducted the court hearing he was supposed to have, but it was in Gonzo's absence because he was probably still in Transcarpathia Oblast.

Now Gonzo has to be transported back to Kharkiv for the hearing he fled from which has been rescheduled for the 22nd.

The good news is that since Gonzo made it a point to cross normally at a regular checkpoint, he avoided being in an even worse situation. Imagine if he made it into Hungary but his passport didn't have the proper stamp.
