Nick's default when it comes to things about his marriage, embarrassing degeneracy and general hypocrisy was usually "All rumors are true, especially the fake ones, but seriously there's no point in defending yourself online because people are going to believe whatever they want to believe, and it's a waste to try and change anyone's mind".

... and in the post above, Nick is making a scene over Hydro_Px alleging that Nick exposed himself on a now deleted stream. Funny stuff, especially since engaging just draws attention to it. If Nick's way of interacting with Hydro_Px made them into a detractor, then Nick is an idiot for thinking more name-calling will do anything but remind Hydro of why they are harassing Nick.

This is actually reminiscent of the 8-hour twitter slap-fight on July 4th, when Nick decided to pick a fight with someone "he doesn't even know" and his Hedonism II trip was brought up to embarrass Nick. The subject was quickly dropped though, and Nick used the remaining time to opine on his own online relevance and understanding of how the internet works. Even then, Nick was dismissive and content to walk away from anything except challenges to his clout.

Basically, Nick was more upset about someone challenging his online relevance than he was about someone denigrating his marriage.

Make fun of the state of his marriage, vacation destinations with his wife, embarrassing "it's just a gay bar guys" degenerate behavior, and general hypocrisy and he will pretend to rise above it.
