As I've said before, I don't hate her - or Helluva despite being increasingly disappointed with season 2 - and hope Hazbin will be better, but her childishness and paper-thin skin is pathetic for a grown woman responsible for two popular shows.

And this is why I generally ignore social media behavior for anyone I actually like, because Twitter is full of people whose work I like who act like absolute utter idiots there. Ron Perlman is another example. He's a great actor but the instant he hits Twitter he turns into a sub-room-temperature IQ retard.

Vivzie just played a stupid game and won a stupid prize, but did it with no malice and doesn't deserve villainization

she did a series that ended up pandering to queer atheists people with religious trauma, abuse history and dark humor who live on Tumbrl, almost specifically for them, and that group are not the most rational in discussions with each other or with people who just want to watch an animation and made the wrong decision to interact with this fandom.

but the truth is that Vivzie didn't invite them or share their opinions, she just did a flashy animation with elements that tumbrl loves and didn't want to exclude any group other than Christian conservatives and now she's confused that those who are criticizing her are the audience she chose.

the audience she's cultivated doesn't like to be offended, but they also have very little empathy and the little they have is more to feel offended in other people's shoes. criticism is focused on saying how much Vizvie doesn't care about group A and offended group B, didn't include group C, stereotyped group D, erased group E and this is all going to cause violence and deaths in the real world and blablablah

I wouldn't say these people aren't fans but they don't care about the plot or characters but for aesthetics and how virtuous they are for supporting the series or for denouncing it, and it doesn't help that on Tumbrls people who do this also post or copy legitimate criticism that gets lost in unnecessary garbage.

TL;DR: Never do anything for Tumbrloids, let them starve and eat themselves

I think the majority of us don't hate Viv. Compared to a lot of people that are discussed on this site, she's relatively harmless. I think a lot of us are just genuinely frustrated because there is potential in HB/HH, but it's wasted on Viv's (at best) mediocre writing. Why else would be on here discussing if we didn't have some interest in it?

I also think that Viv believes that she is just the greatest thing to grace the Animation scene. Perhaps that's a bit of an exaggeration, but I assume that she never really gotten any harsh criticism before in her life. She's probably been told all her life how great of an artist she is, and the few critiques she has gotten were either hidden with endless compliments, or were really just being mean to be mean. But now, half of her audience is critiquing her work with very little compliments, and I'm sure that is coming as quite a shock to her. Is she not as good as she think she was? No, the times before when someone critiqued her were from "online bullies" who wanted to see her crumble and fall, even though many of those critiques state themselves they want her work to get better so she does succeed. Besides, there's just as many people that say she's so great. Even her close friends say that she's great, and they would never lie to her, right? Viv is just a typical case of someone who hasn't gone through many hardships and has been constantly lovebombed her entire life.

Also, I guess those leaks were real since Viv admitted them herself. I guess that one person that claimed they were all fake was pulling shit out of their own ass. Hopefully, since she said they were drafts, that means they've been reworked, because we all know what a shitstorm at least one of those scenes would have brought.

Its hilarious to think the concept of villain cartoons isn't even new, we already had children related ones like Invader Zim and Evil Con Carne, we even have a (partial) anime one with drama like Dorohedoro, all with the boundaries of what is acceptable on Television. But now that you have a show where you can do anything with all the possible ideas of a villain related setting, it devolves into gay shit, because unfiltered humor nowadays is just 50 shades of sucking cock.

It's fucking amazing what wonders you can do to a story when you're even marginally more competent than Vivienne. (Granted, still no fucking Cameron, but, baby steps.)

...naw, dude. First one looks like it's just making a joke and it gets to the point in a hurry. The second one is like a fanfiction (!!!!!!) inserting an hour of inner monologue exposition dump into a preexisting scene. I don't know if it was inane of the original to go for that joke instead of the exposition, but the second one is just seeking an entirely different goal from the first, and doing it awkwardly. I don't agree that anything is executed better.

It's not supposed to be a joke. It's supposed to be a serious, dramatic moment where their relationship is called into question. In this, the second version is indeed much better, for the reasons I stated above, even though, yes, less words would benefit the second one a lot more. Keep the dialogue-less panels of the first, some of the exposition of the second.

I'm not going to pretend I know much about Zoophobia. All I know is that it started out with the main character going to a place that has strange creatures and she has to deal with her zoophobia, hence the name of the comic. But then it devolved into a bunch of plot lines and characters' arcs that had nothing to do with the original premise.

Lol if that does happen it’ll be the gayest character design ever. For Mammon I always thought of this tornado formed of gold coins, gems, and changing form for his benefit:

World of Warcraft in its spiraling downfall seems to have a better grasp of its character design than this “independent” animator. I’ll also be disappointed if they make Behemoth a dinosaur, which is the stupidest and most basic design in modern Abrahamic art.

The only place Stolas got any real push back about his relationship with Blitz was in the Lust Ring by the prince of the place himself, and now you want to tell me that they don't care?

making all Deadly Sins to the Goetias seems silly as they are already a poorly thought out group with sporadic impact and their poorly written rules only apply to Stolas in particular, sometimes. This family doesn't matter beyond what affects Stolas and adding the Sins won't fix that as they are already basically independent.

Also, the Deadly Sins won't appear in HH? why? Lucifer will and they're his former circus troupe who are apparently like family and they're not going to appear in the show where he's going to be introduced as an entertainer nostalgic about his past? Priorities Vizvie
