"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I could be mistaken, or maybe I'm just imagining it, but wasnt there once an MATI intro that had drawings by Sven Stoffels of prominent lolcows? I swear it was like last year and he only played it once. Anyone recall what date the episode was from?
Was this the chat Josh had with Metokur last fall? It was hosted on the MATI youtube channel, but well... no more MATI Youtube channel lol. I'd link it from Rumble, but I am busy at the moment.

That's a Metokur intro. It should be on these videos as well as the Year of the Chud ones:

I noticed I get more comments like "what the fuck am I watching" and "what the fuck is this stream" on Rumble. I guess we're actually finding new people on Rumble compared to YouTube, which is such a massive positive for Rumble tbh.
I prefer the way Odysneed looks, but Rumble is so clearly winning the alt-youtube war. It's not even close.

Odysee is a lot better at hosting files outside of video, but the average person looking for an alternative to YouTube doesn't really care about that. It's great for the 3d printed gun community as you can share stl files, but that's the only community i known of that thrives there.

huh? why would it not be in October?
Is the plan not to use them for the site's background for October? I'd suggested that as a component, and now I'm not sure of what parts you were saying "sure" to.

Could we please have another holiday art even just like the previous Christmas one, with the best chosen pieces used as the site's wallpaper for all of October? I'm certain that doing it for Halloween would yield some really great stuff from the kiwis. It may also be something nice for users to work on on our end while the site itself is undergoing so much maintenance and up-and-down. I'm only requesting that an official thread for the event to be made and featured with the rules in the OP, as dealing with choosing winners and making the wallpaper would be a ways off in September, hopefully once the site is stable and Josh has more time for funsies.

I hope very much that this is a reasonable request, as I'm dying to see what kinds of submissions would turn up and would love it if the site had more themed decor for October.
What would be your preferred way of going about something like this, if you're still on board?

It's nice to see the free market starting to work again. Esg investing was a cancer and I hope it continues to die.

I just forgot and you're asking me in a random thread instead of the original context so I can see what you're talking about mate

My apologies; I didn't mean to cause confusion. I thought that it might have been more bothersome of me to continue in a section specifically for talking to staff, just in case other staff get some kind of notification for it. Regardless, I should have just quoted here in the first place while going off of that assumption.

As someone who's seen all the episodes of The First 48, Jersh's critique of Basketball American interrogations was hilarious. The funniest thing about those interrogations are how they tuck their arms into their XXL shirts and squirm while waiting in the interview room, because of the air-conditioning being on full-blast, and how the toughest ones break down and cry when they finally confess.

We'll see how far they break through the Kemper-Bundy ceiling.

Not sure when it happened, but at some point they unfucked several things in the last few months. God only knows why, but watching live videos used to be a pain in the ass. They also updated the TV app (MATI is the Friday background noise of choice) and the player feels better than YT.

The days of VK are over!

Since people are finding the stream through avenues that aren't the Kiwi Farms, have you considered adding an intro to the podcast? It could help new people, especially ones checking out the stream backlog for more info. You could also add some more info to the description, like the one-line blurb that was originally on madattheinternet.com

ya bro just make the thread and tag me to it

Women who date criminals/abusers tend to either make one mistake and never get fooled again, or do it serialy because they are attracted to the corolated traits and/or just very stupid. There are enough of the second category that it takes up all the oxygen in the room and leaves the real victims to be unfairly castigated. It's sad but understandable, just like a like a lot of real problems the actual solution is to prioritize incarceration of violent offenders, instead of whatever the fuck we do now.
I agree with you in full but I’ve been around too many BASED misogynists to really call it understandable. It’s just self-pity. Which is a criminal trait in fact!
