Whatever happened to the Blue Lives Matter/Back the Blue movement after 2020?

I still see lots of those black and white american flags with the one blue line, mostly stickers on cars, sometimes hanging off someone's porch or flagpole

The local radio station plays "back the blue" commercials "brought to you" by local businesses

It's a half suburban half rural county. There's large areas of the country where back the blue isn't a meme it's a serious and widespread civic belief

Republican voters however don't have any faith in the GOP and they'll burn their party to the ground just to smoke out all the RINOs. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if the Republicans went the way of the Whigs by 2030.

Democrat voters believe the DNC is the only thing stopping the KKK from resurrecting Hitler and giving him the power to take away women's right to vote. They don't care how corrupt or dishonest the DNC is. The next time Republicans win, black transfolx will be dragged down the street behind rusty pickup trucks.

The relationship between petty officials like police/city councils/DAs and the general public is close and good in many places. It helps if the area has a collection of similar communities of smaller population (no single town or township or whatever in the county more than ~50,000 in population) and the proportion of niggers and illegal aliens is also small. I just happen to live in an area that is still America, for now. There are lots of them left outside of the hives

I wish I had your optimism. I don't even think elections will be held in 2024 or at the very least they will be delayed so long that it won't matter. Another pandemic, a war or even good old election fortification can be used as justification to push the election date onwards into 2025. Doubly so if Trump wins again.

IF, by some miracle, Trump is elected, do you think those who cried and said mean words in 2016; the same people emboldened to storm the active senate; the same people who burned down cities across america, unstopped, and worst, were supported to do so; the same people who screamed for more lockdowns; the same people who said the jab was bad because Trump, then demanded 340 million people get vaxxed 4 times; the same people that cheer for warcrimes in Ukraine; the same people who want foreign wars; the same people who rob and loot stores with reckless abandon; the same people who...

America and the world at large changed in very defining moments over the last decade. 2016 with the election of Trump, 2020 with Covid are the stand out moments and soon, when this long held-back recession hits, the people mentioned above are not going to sit there happily and starve. Triply so if Trump gets into power. We could see real social unrest the likes we haven't seen in two generations, mixed in with a recession that we haven't seen in one hundred years.
