I feel like he could have easily walked out of this with probation and some community service but there's a high probability of him chimping out in the court room and getting a harsher sentence. He'll come back out after spending his whole stint checked into protective custody with the other chomos and then proceed to spin some delusional tail about him being a key holder for the aryan brotherhood and how he made a ton of friends. The only friends he'll be making are the other pedophiles and snitches he'll be checked in with.

It depends on what part of the facility he goes to cyraxx has several places he could end up two of which he would have a much harder time sleeping in. If he checks in to protective custody he will get his own cell and might have a cell mate depending on how crowded the jail is. If he doesn't check in they will most likely put him in the medical/psychiatric pod these are open bay with a bunch of bunks lined up out in the open and they don't usually turn all the lights off at night. His final option is if he choses to flip out they'll strip him down and put him in a turtle suit and toss him in the bubble which is basically a large cell with a giant solid plexiglas window on the front of it with no furniture the lights never go off there and he has to sleep on the floor and shit into a hole in the floor that can only be flushed from the outside.

At most during their short meeting he will blabber to his public defender about castle doctrine and inciting a riot, the public defender will tell him that's not how it works, Chance will tell him to do his fucking job and then the public defender will say "listen to me you fucking inbred retard shut your fucking mouth and accept this plea agreement or you're going to jail" at which point Chance will start crying and begging for forgiveness and do whatever he is told

His PD isn't going to sift through literal days of video "evidence" because it's not relevant to the fucking case at hand. The court doesn't care what Marty or Gloryhole has said in the past, all they care about are the facts of the day in question.

Chance came charging out of his house with a bat and proceeded to attack someone who was standing on the sidewalk armed with a piece of poster board. He assaulted someone with a deadly weapon, simple as that. And now the court will decide if he's guilty or innocent and how he should be punished if it's the former.

Also notice that this is your typical Sympathy Rax setup here. He's slouched down in his chair and not looking at the camera very much. He's trying to make himself look as small and non threatening (not that he ever is in the first place) as possible so you'll feel sorry for him. He's also tilted his camera downward to help emphasize that he's meek and mild.

I'm a little split on how Rax would fare in jail/prison. My gut reaction is that he would pack up in the first five minutes and head to protective custody and probably from there into suicide watch. Convicts are very good at reading body language and gauging weakness and you know Chance is gonna be dumb enough to try his "I came up from the streets" bit.

On the other hand, the past couple months have proved he will at least try to fight when he feels he has to. So, if he can keep his mouth shut otherwise, he might do better than expected. I think it just comes down to how self-aware he is about how contrived all his personas are. If he genuinely can't help being deluded about his station in life and bragging about it to strangers, he's fucked, 100%. But, if he's only doing it to try and further his own ends, he might be smart enough to realise that shit won't fly there.

The trolls are a wildcard though, they will 100% try and get info to people on the inside about him being a nonce. I know that info is supposed to be restricted, but they'll try nonetheless, I could see them calling him and trying to bait him into screaming about it in such a way that the other inmates will start asking questions.

I'm still not convinced he'll even go, people have to be getting away with way worse shit in Akron every day.

I don't think anyone was whispering in his ear, because Chance never listens to anybody about anything at any time.

As I've said before, because he's so insecure, he has a compulsion to try and dominate everyone and everything. And because he's so stupid he doesn't understand how a conversation actually works.

One person says something to another, they respond, and it goes back and forth like that in a civil manner. But to Chance letting anyone else get a word in would be both ceding control and admitting they're on the same level as him, which he can not allow.

To Chance, a conversation should be a one way street, like a sermon. He does all of the talking while the other person should just sit there silently and nod their head, if they dare to speak up or speak in opposition to him, he yells at them to shut the fuck up so he can continue pontificating.

And it doesn't mater what he's saying, so long as his mouth is the one making the most noises and making them the loudest, it means he's control of things which means everyone else is subservient to him. Why else did he start barking that one time when he was getting his argument shot down? Because it was his way of trying to reassert his dominance.

So he's incapable of listening to anyone, it's why he's not listening to a single thing his PD has been telling him, he's going to cut his nose off to spite his face because the alternative would be admitting someone else is smarter and knows more than him.

I don't know about Ohio, but most states with stand your ground laws and castle doctrines include words like "posing a threat." The rule of thumb the court needs to follow in these situations is "Would it have been legal to shoot a mail man in this situation?"

If a mail man is walking onto your porch to ring the doorbell (like Chance and Sally claime that AOM did before camping on the sidewalk), then you are going to go to jail for shooting him. If the mail man is standing on the side walk with a sign you don't like (Like the video shows AOM doing) you will go to jail for shooting him. If the mail man has a weapon (not a sign with fighting words) and is kicking in your shouting that he is going to kill you (Something that no one has even claimed AOM did), then you could actually get off with killing them.

But even in cases of Castle Doctrine or Stand Your Ground the cops have to make an arrest because it's not up to them to decide if it's either of those things or not, it's up to the Grand Jury, then the court.

If his PD let's him try to claim either of these things it could end up hurting him. The DA would make it clear that this is not the first time that Chance has assaulted someone like this, by showing the Marty fight. Chance would then claim that Marty was posing a threat while sitting on a porch a block away. The court might then deem Sally as unfit to take care of Chance because Chance is too dumb to recognize when someone is actually posing a threat and she wasn't able to stop him from assaulting 2 people. In the end, Chance ends up in home

If he does any jail time, I doubt it will be more than 30 day. I'm hoping for jail because I could use a break. I might get a book read without Chance around to pay attention to.

He will get a chance to talk when the Judge asks if he is pleading guilty because he is guilty. I can't imagine him not taking that opportunity to try to address the judge directly and tell the judge his excuses.

If he doesn't take a plea and goes to trial, he's going to try to get his attorney to put him on the stand so he can "explain himself." His attorney is in a real fucked up position right now. He is supposed to do everything he can to defend his client. Chance has already tried to hand the PD a flash drive with "evidence" that he turned down. If he doesn't let Chance testify it might give Chance grounds to grieve the attorney with the state bar for not doing everything he can to defend him. This could lead to an appeal if the appeallit court agrees.
