I'm pretty sure one of the devs on No Man's Sky, Innes McKendrick, came out as trans a while ago.

Wu will not mention this as it will show that a trans person has actually worked on a game and provided regular updates on it's progress and it doesn't look shit.

I stand corrected, John has gone in the opposite direction and is currently sperging out about how boring No Man's Sky is. Contrary to what most of the initial reports are saying.

If it's popular you can bet your ass Wu will find something to bitch and moan about. Strange that there was no initial period of praising the game though, that usually comes before the negativity.

Enjoyed Wu's incredible audacity to complain about how the game looks lol.

And, as usual, shitting on something comes first, getting told and asking about how it works later. :stress:

Wu is always fond of bitterly shitting on more popular indie games that blow R60 out of the water. She's also called The Binding of Isaac "a stupid game where you shoot tears at poop," dismissed undertale as nothing special if I'm remembering correctly, and now she's calling no man's sky boring after its basically took enough time to make the game the best it can be. She hates seeing all these other indie devs making successful, beloved games with only a fraction of the resources she had because it only drives it in that even with a massive advantage (e.i sugar daddy funding) over everyone else and after doing all she can to stir up controversy to get attention her game is really nothing more than a forgotten shitstain on the walls of indie gaming.

So just to reiterate:
Since her Kickstarter went up, which explicitly states that she wants cash for bringing her turd to the PC (FYI: Kickstarter started in August 2013, Rev 60 was released to iOS in July 2014), No Man's Sky - one of the more troubled game developments in recent years - made it from a teaser programmed by four people all the way to it's release. And Wu has the audacity to complain about it in a tone as if she could do a better job.

Replace all enemies' faces with those of noted feminists.

I was thinking more along the lines of replacing the character models with walking cartoon penises, but keeping the ridiculous wigs. And, I dunno, maybe a gut belt for his Mary Sue?

I'm pretty sure enabling modeling modding is not on by default, though, and he'd never throw that switch.

I love the fact that Wu thinks having it say Natalie here will make people think she's real. That's like a high school guy writing himself a note from "his canadian gf Mooseknuckle" It's just absurdly written that a PR person would open like that. My company has a social media and pr manager and never once have they written a press release or anything using their name as the opener like it lends credibility.

"We have narrowed down our release date timeframe to….. OCTOBER!"

Didn't she say "two weeks" < 12 hours ago?

Yep, and I don't doubt the "2 weeks" she's spouting now will eventually turn into October and further and further due to technical issues. Probably accompanied by ranting about Steam's byzantine command line tools.

Still no changes to SteamDB or the Kickstarter page, but I believe the tags associated with the iOS version on the App Store have been tweaked. Many of us were led to believe that no version of the game was available from the store because we forgot about the existence of the Pay Up Front edition and it never showed up when we searched for "Revolution 60", only showing up when a search for "Revolution 60 full" was made. That is no longer the case as it now appears when you search for "Revolution 60", so either Apple's search got a lot less specific or something like tags were changed by Brianna. Not a sign of impending release of iOS edition, but possibly a show of activity in Brianna's long dormant developer account.

I think the thing that irritates people is that BriBri loves to speak as though her opinion is some kind of technical insight or game dev law, when it's really just an opinion.
Most people can handle just saying "I don't like X because Y and Z", but she'll always phrase it as "X was not a good game at all. From a technical standpoint, the use of Z is ridiculous, and Y is just extra garbage thrown at the player for no real benefit. Not good design in the least."
She talks like this, as many do, because she's insecure and wants to sound intelligent and insightful, but I think it winds up being one of the biggest things people hate about her. It's a really pretentious and self-important way to speak, and I've long wondered if people might not be better disposed towards her (or at least, harbor less open hatred for her) if she didn't do this shit.
For example, I didn't really enjoy Undertale. I thought it felt like something that was designed from the ground up to be a cult hit, and it was trying way too hard to be a sooper deep and amazing game with omglolzrandom humor. It wasn't a bad game though. Undertale was an amazing game, with a lot of time and care put into it. I just didn't fucking like it, and that's fine.
It's odd, but I really do think if she learned to phrase an opinion without trying to come off like an expert people would hate her less. After all she's done, it's still easily the most irritating aspect of the Wu persona.
