Incest laws are fucking stupid and Virginia is a retarded state. From the start I've been of the opinion that Chris raped Barb. That's a far worse deed than just having an incestuous relationship.

Okay, enough ranting about the stupidity of American law. I believe Chris might be able to not go to jail in the case he's held legally unaccountable. Psych ward time is something far more likely. Getting wrangled by a team of psychs 24/7 is unironically better than being held in custody with sexually-depraved prison faggots. Shit ending for Chris, but still better than a homeless saga.

If I'm not mistaken, the Grand Jury will decide whether or not it should be taken to trial. Chris is out awaiting the Grand Jury's verdict, so I think he'll have to return to prison/some kind of mental health facility awaiting trial if the Jury decides in favour of a trial

They are probably deciding the final structure of the tard deferal. They are looking at how well he managed and was managed in Gateway and will likely approve the defferal and keep him there long term. He's not going on the sex offender registry because the charges are deffered so long as he is well managed.

It’s a question of opportunity. He was Barb’s primary caretaker and alone with her all the time. She had no option of leaving him. Other women do have the option of leaving him, so while he might make unwelcome advances, it’s very dubious things would ever progress beyond that.

Also, it was Barb. The same Barb who forced him to sleep in her bed and cuddle with her until he felt upset enough about it to cry about it in a captain’s log. I’m still not convinced it wasn’t consensual.

Wild how back in 2013/2014 Null was talking about how Chris's story had ended, he had become a drained sadcow and how none of his antics were funny anymore. Now, while whether any of this is "funny" is up for debate/personal taste, Chris definitely had more "fight" in him than Null thought, even if that was drawn out by progressively faggier zoomer weens as time went on.
