Without wishing to powerlevel too much, my current work has seen me deal with a number of people headed to perform at the Edinburgh Festival this year. Are they all fat and disabled and queer whose entire act is about how they’re fat/disabled/queer? You bet your sweet bippy they are!

Back on topic, Jaboukie Young-White is an irritant whose entire schtick and personality is being the gayest gay who ever gayed and being as outrageously offensive as possible to Approved targets. Basically everything wrong with Zoomers.

It was depressing what happened to Jerry Sadowitz at the festival last year where he got shows cancelled because he offended people - like that's what he does? I was pleased to see a few older comics I respect defending him.

Kevin Brennan - ex-SNL, older brother of Neal (they hate each other), always starting drama, gets punched all the time. Antony Cumia orbiter.

Chad Zumock - Antony Cumia orbiter. I don't know anything about his comedy, bit of a WANNABE. Started rumor that Patton Oswalt killed his wife.

Shuli Egar - ex-Stern Wack Packer turned prolific podcaster and failed stand-up comedian. Produces a number of low quality YT livestreams and calls them "The Shuli Network". Life support system for other ex-Wack Packers including Bob Levy. Ran Stuttering John off the internet by copying WATP's schtick and cranking it up to 11. A Jew's Jew.

Bob Levy - another Stern alumni. Ancient. Unfunny. Usually high as fuck. Takes what little energy he has not to fall asleep on stream. Stepdaughter is Paige Niemann, an Instathot turned OnlyFans "creator" whose gimmick is being a dollar store Ariana Grande lookalike.

Mike Morse - I'm not sure how he's connected to Stern or anyone else in this orbit, but he's a regular on The Shuli Network and is unfunny as shit. Actually scratch that... there's one thing he does that is hilarious: he runs a stand-up comedy school.

Chrissie Mayr - another Compound hack. Major GOTIS energy. Has her own show on Compound Media (The Wet Spot) and her own show on YT (The Chrissie Mayr Show). Also streams with Brittany Venti and a few other insufferable skanks (Simpcast). Has a major case of BDS. Karl from WATP has a hard-on for her.

Bonus future lolcow: Cardiff Electric. Glommed onto WATP after he threw shade at StutJo on Twitter. Ripped off his potato character from a terrible YouTube show (Pomme Swipes Left) that reviews a terrible podcast (Mom Swipes Right) and uses this character on his shitty livestreams. Now does standup whilst wearing a gimp mask. His routine is retelling the jokes of other WATP lolcows. His closer is the Stuttering John squeegee bit.

Pretty much any standup within the orbit of Compound Media, Howard Stern and/or WATP is a lolcow. I suspect the reason none of the above have KF threads is because they're so comprehensively covered by WATP and a bunch of subreddits including r/dabblersanonymous and r/shulisanonymous.

Whitney Cummings - shouts at audience like a female Joe Rogan. Similarly unfunny. Goes to 12 step programs just because she is related to alcoholics or some shit. Massive animal rights fanatic. Injured by own dog. Filmed herself pissing on a lawn - full frontal - because she was teaching her dog to piss.

Nobody will ever be able to convince me that she didn’t suck and fuck her way to the top. Quickly transitioned to being a producer to avoid having to do any more comedy. People got tired of her so now she’s back to having to try to be a comedian again. It’s not going as well now that she’s over 40 and there are younger, hotter women to fuck.

Ari Shaffir - grifted his way to a sort of career from a being a cloakroom boy at a club. Fled the country after shitting on Kobe Bryant's death. Only figured out how to be funny in the last couple of years. Massive anger issues. Spiked Bert Kreisher with MDMA, fights everyone, put his own shit on other comedians car, has permanent bleeding haemerhoid, throws bloody toilet paper at people that piss him off.

He got some attention for being a Jew who trolls other Jews but people find out what a loser he is and pisses away any kind of momentum he gets. Yet another Joe Rogan barnacle that can’t actually make it on his own.

If they want that, they can call up Whitney Cummings.

It was depressing what happened to Jerry Sadowitz at the festival last year where he got shows cancelled because he offended people - like that's what he does? I was pleased to see a few older comics I respect defending him.

And now the Fringe Festival is here and you were right: it's exactly as insufferable and boring as you predicted. The wokelords are all about cancelling the few remaining funny or interesting shows, but mysteriously silent on the exploitation of venue staff, breaking of fire regs, scamming, rent hikes, sudden evictions so landlords can rent the place to tourists or performers, wage theft, the fact that many performers lose money to perform at the Fringe, and all the other shit that goes on at the Festival. That's how you know they're just out of touch middle-class brats with no actual left-wing credentials.

I'll say this for them, though, they do help me choose what to see. If I see a bunch of fat posh hipsters picketing a show or screeching about it, I know it's more likely to be entertaining.

I like a lot of these New York/Philly comics like Shane Gillis, Big Jay Oakerson, Luis J Gomez, Tim Butterly, etc. They don't take themselves seriously, they make jokes to be funny, they're not faggots, and they're not trying to "cancel" other comedians like a lot of LA comics do. Standup in general is definitely a dying art form. It makes me sick to see how many nonwhites have standup specials on Netflix who nobody has ever heard of and are not funny at all. There are definitely a lot of funny minority comedians, but these ones that are being propped up are just terrible.

shane gillis is one of my all-time comedians, up to there with carlin and them. learning about his life story, how he doesn't lie about it to make himself look cooler. he seems very down to earth and glad he got cancelled before he even started. he doesn't give a fuck, which is a trait I can appreciate in a human.

i really hope shane just stays the way he is without any issue because I don't want to hate him. watching his standup and being on kill tony is an easy way to get laughs out of me.

What ruined comedy is this obsession with "punching up" instead of "punching down." One of my favorite bits ever and one that made him super famous was Eddie Murphy's bit about a fag on top of a car making a siren noise. Sure, homos were "marginalized" in the 80s but it made everyone laugh and that's all that matters.
