The comic reminds me a lot of growing up, my dad would make these sorts of remarks. He didn't do everything right, but I definitely got some of his sense of humor...I'm either very silly and punny like my Mom, or deadpanning like my Dad.

Which means when I'm a mom, I too shall tell my children they were gotten from K-mart. And when they ask if they're special, I'll hug them, put a hand on their shoulder, look 'em dead in the eyes, and say, "Of course, my dear. You're blue light special."

Now the task of explaining Sears and K-mart to them :( what happened to our childhoods, Kiwis?
