simply put whatevers wrong with him is his parents fault and he would not be the way he is today if his parents did something about it sooner.

I think it is just a sort of updated version of people who try to distance themselves from bad behavior due to alcohol or drugs.

There were people, and probably still are, who claim that a literal someone else takes over while drinking.

In the DID cases they can just do what they feel like then when it has a bad reaction, claim that it was a head mate and not “them”.

Basically they are larping Roger The Alien from American Dad.

Fong Jones might well be one of his personas.

I wasn’t simply saying Fong Jones is similar to Roger however, I mean that about virtually all who claim DID.

Even then Roger doesn’t claim DID to cover his horrible behavior, he revels in both the insanity of his personas, extreme self interest and his general lack of empathy.
