I was never really into military history circles (unless you count /k/ but that is very much so it's own animal) and so I can't say anything with authority here, but I'm more than willing to bet that these faggots have always been there, they were just far easier to drown out.

If I had to make a circles of hell chart to describe where /k/ is, it's like a 2. Mostly just shitpoasting retards. That's basically all military fourms. Which is where pig and his group came from.

But the thing is they rarely have had power in any measurable sense. They usually just rage in Warthunder and ARMA. Military shit is about talking facts, technical specs, reading books, and generally playing nice with the other guy so hopefully you learn something (because half that shit is kept in dusty archives, even if it's declassified, someone has to go down there to check).

What pig and his gang have done is stomped in and acted like actual authorities. Usually we're pretty trusting, and they seemed to know what they were talking about, so they gained power quickly.

What's happening is nothing short of a GamerGate level rift. Even if you can't see it, I can, and have been for years. Other youtubers have been grumbling for years about him, but only now with blatant disregard for any facts was he finally called on it. Shit looks bad from where I'm at, VERY BAD. As in Zoe Quinn sucking off journalists bad.

It's not like he's making an effort to retain anonymity. He uses his real name for everything and he openly states he lives in San Antonio on his LinkedIn. As he said, doxing him would be pretty pointless. Doubly so since as you said he own plenty of guns and he lives in Texas.

All that said, I restate that I don't think these people can even grasp the concept of someone not being terminally online. Because I decided to go looking a little bit. So let us compare and contrast, class:

You have a guy with an average of ~140 posts a year, versus a guy who did close to 700 in 11 months. Is the Pig even close to some of the lolcows we have here in terms of raw productivity? Of course not, it looks like he tweets in bursts. But it's clear he spends a long time on social media and discord (and likely checks the farms, Hi Pig!), and so his audience is naturally going to be a lot more terminally online.

What's my point? I don't think I have one, I just wanted to make the boxing match joke.

Not sure about a thread, but a writeup definitely. Something to point his dickriders at whenever they start arriving here. The Chieftain's video's comment section was infested with people "disappointed" at the guy for calling out their beloved idiot, and so are any videos criticizing LazerPig. So I would expect at least one punchable NAFO face showing up here soon.

He's name dropped us on occasion. He knows. But yeah. One is a much more buisness centered media spread, as expected of a historian that travels museum from museum and needs to be in good standing. The other literally says Gay AF in the bio. All you need to know. One cares about tanks, the other politics.

Well, now he drives a desk. But yeah, he commanded an Abrams for... I want to say at least 2 years in Iraq (someone correct me if I'm wrong), and a Bradley for a bit longer in Afghanistan.

Of course, he also says at the start of some of his lectures that when it comes to matters historical his experience as a tanker is irrelevant. What an M1 Abrams crewman would know and do is so distant from what a M4, T-34 or Panzer IV crewman would know and do as to be two completely different worlds outside of the most basic concepts you don't need to be a trained tanker to know. Historical fact is historical fact no matter who's talking about it.

No Pig, The Chieftain did not completely ignore you, he politely declined your offer probably because you reached out to him through a YouTube comment instead of his business email. And even then, you're not entitled to collab so why even bring it up except to manipulate people to believe you're the victim and slander anyone who has even a slightly negative opinion about your actions.

Yeah, Rudy is being dramatic. I still watch him, but not near as much as I used to -- he's embraced becoming neo-Jordan Peterson (I've even started calling him "Zoomer Peterson") mixed with a little Tim Pool-ish fatalism. Listening in-between the lines of his videos, it sounds like the last 3-6 months have been tough for him (moved from NYC to rural PA, to Los Angeles, and now he's in Texas?). A lot of acquaintances/friends severing ties and stuff like that.

Lazerpig is angry because Chieftain didn't suck his dick.

As for his "research" part of it is known specifically a Sla-16 FIAT final report document. And none of it proves what he says. If you look at the description he states that you have to dig through an "Austrian archive" barring the fact that Austrian military archives are very restrictive, this is a UK produced document and you'll only really find it in US and UK military archives. Which part of me thinks he had said this to mislead people as to where to find it.

It's a very good break down of the engine but it does absolutely nothing to prove his point other than to flex that he does research.
Likely someone else sent it to him or it was already online.
