Inactive Andrew Dobson / Tom Preston / CattyN - STOP DOING SEXIST CRAP

Even Egoraptor has gotten soft on his judgement of OoT in recent years

To be fair, his Sequelitis about differences of OoT and A Link to the Past had some arguments and although I don't agree with him, I respect his opinions (no, I didn't watch Game Grumps series) and it was fun to watch. I remember Dobson just make stupid comic where arguments were:
1. Gorons looks stupid.
2. After OoT timeline messed up.
3. Ganon is not pig.
4. Link is blond.
5. Panel with many blond Links (I still don't know, is that meaning that Nintendo puts him everywhere?)

In other words, "It's not Zelda I was (not) fighting for."

He did also specify that's it's just his own personal opinion and if others liked it, that was fine too.

Dobson just blocks them after making a "smug" comment when someone disagrees with him.

No no, those are "controversial views", Swirly Glasses mah boi.

Honestly... I think these videos are nice, they need work here and there, the visuals could be improved, he needs a fucking pop filter and a better microphone.

The only thing that made me roll my eyes was the SJW-virtual-signaling bullshit in the Ladybug Cabinet video. It was the 80s. When people understood that scantily clad women can sell stuff to male adolescents and young adult men. There, that's why people put tits on things, because cartoony ladybugs don't pull the target audience. But the rest was surprisingly OK.

But since I am now saying that Dobson actually did something nice, he will probably dive into a pool of self-doubt and stop making them all together.

Well obviously! You're not complimenting the comics and art he's not drawing!

I know it's a fetish but, still, it's really weird that whenever he sees two girls together he automatically assumes they're lesbians and no other way around it.

Yes Dobson, yes it is.
It may not be as much of a failure than lets say the Jem Movie, Oogieloves, or that one bizarre movie about the president of FIFA, but for a movie, that had an "official" budget of 144 million and an add campaign probably worth almost as much, this is a failure. Even if we ignore the later to make the statement "the movie earned Sony at least 36 million", it is still a fucking failure. Cause 36 million "profit" against such a high budget is not worth the time and effort in their eyes. In fact, most of their other movies probably made them earn as much in a shorter time.

Example on just how much of a failure it is: Sony once invested around 299 million into Amazing Spiderman and made in return 709 million. Spiderman 3 even around a budget of 200 million earned the studie almost 900 million and they still considered both movies utter failures. So if those two were failures in their eyes, what does that make Ghostbusters 2016?

Edit: Just for a further nail in the coffin: The Fantastic Four movie last year made currently still more than this movie. And it had a similiar budget to Ghostbusters 2016.

Man, I just had to tweet him once with the smallest thing ever about Hillary, and he instantly blocks me. It was not even aimed at him.
No wonder no one talks to him.

I'm told he uses an autoblocker, so if your account is too new, has too few followers, or too few tweets it instantly blocks you.

He has an app that automatically blocks anyone who doesn't have a certain number of followers. It's possible that's why he blocked you, but with how much of a little cunt he is, it wouldn't surprise me if he did himself over something so minor.

So basicaly he blocks anyone who do not waste their time on a media page where people can't even have a normal conversation. Gotcha.

It depends on your Account. Is it new and has only a small number of tweets? Then you have merely been blocked by Dobson's "I can't deal with people" Forcefield aka: the Auto-Block script.
Possibly, the amount of followers is important for this, too.

I'll just shamelessly quote myself from another thread, since it's relevant:
Currently, the movie is neither a big hit nor a bomb. However it's far from being successfull, too. It still has to make back it's budget of roughly 400-500 Million dollars and has recently scratched past 180 Million Dollars internationally (so at least it covered the production cost). Just for reference, domestically it made 46 Million Dollars on it's opening weekend. The second weekend, it barely made 21 Million Dollars. The following week, it made 10.1 Million Dollars. Last weekend it made 4.7 Million Dollars. It's similar with the weekly results. That's a steady decline of >50% per week.
35,8% of cinemas already pulled it from their screens in the US.

The points you raise about Spiderman are bleak, though. I knew Sony considered these movies to be "underperforming", though I wasn't aware of their definition. What chance does GB have at this point?

And while we're at it, I'll quote @Karen Riley for good measure:
According to the Hollywood Reporter, there's definitely not going to be a Ghostbusters sequel. It's going to finish its theatrical run at the very best with an around 70 million loss. Ouch.

Prepare yourselves for endless whiny "Sony is run by misogynist assholes!" tweets once Sony inevitably declares this movie a failure - making Dobson the perfect embodiment of the SJW-dog that bites the hand that fed it.

Considering Paul Feig said this, yes, I would call it a fail.

I wonder if he is in denial or has actualy no idea that "Just passing production budget" is basicaly the same as bombing. With the inflated budget movies have these days(same goes for games) they need to make at least 3 times what it costed to make to get even. I remember when EA said that they needed to sell 3 million coppies of dead space 3 to keep the series alive, and that was bafeling because DS1 and 2 did not even get near that number.
