Gas went down worldwide under Trump because of covid. No one was going anywhere so gas prices went way down. Then gas companies decided to price gouge and made record profits by making the prices go way the hell up

Yeah except gas prices have nothing to do with the President. There's only two ways he can affect gas prices.
Those are direct effects in the market. Administrations can indirectly affect the market by increasing drilling permits, signaling support for oil companies. But of course, it’s hard to calculate indirect effects.
