Nicholas Robert Rekieta / Rekieta "Law" / Actually Criminal / @NickRekieta - Polysubstance enthusiast, "Lawtuber" turned Dabbleverse streamer, swinger, "whitebread ass nigga", snuffs animals for fun, visits 🇯🇲 BBC resorts. Legally a cuckold who lost his license to practice law. Wife's bod worth $50. The normies even know.
The Youtube area at AM was very much not busy throughout the day. A walk up and chat would've been cake for congoers. I did see Kurt and LV (Edit: Can add Aussie and Drex to the list at those at the table from what I was told). Saturday will probably be busier, but I somehow doubt it'll be as busy as last year's when there were known faces.
Last year, they had the tables wrapped around into a semi-closed in area. It was harder to form a long queue without zigzagging. This setup has a huge corner, so would've been more accommodating for crowds.
Featured Tables:
-Cecil Says
-Chrissie Mayer
-Nerdrotic
-The Critical Drinker (no show)
-Rekieta Law
-Fucking Camelot
-Dman1954
Last year they had graphics with their proper portraits on them and printed names. This year the panel art looks a bit more like a rush job.
God Bless Kurt for livestreaming at the deadest hour so Nick can cope and seethe about how there were "totally big lines, guys!" His lawtism provides great content when he's not being an Eyore or Forever Alone pile of rage.
No offense to you but I hate this term so fucking much. Who cares who is punching what direction it’s the fucking internet. You put yourself out there you’re going to get made fun of if you do something retarded enough that “big” names start making fun of you then you probably shouldn’t have done that
It's not just their size. It's that his rage is disproportionate to their size and their capability to affect Rekieta in any meaningful way.
Thus far he's accused Monty of molesting boys, hopes Elissa literally dies, and reveled in the fact that Claire got hacked. Just because they made fun of him.
I think there's a point where he comes across as unhinged. Most big Youtubers I know tend to ignore the small fry critics.

That's fair I was being a tad bit autistic there for a minute. I think the bigger determining factor is credibility with his "audience" elissa was someone his people trusted, claire was someone even people on the farms liked, he knows once popular people start talking about him in the sektur he's boned worse than he was in Jamaica so he has to shut that shit down with prejudice. So yeah it's punching down in a literal sense. When I punch my fish heads they never complain.
Sorry, but I don't see Nick punching much of anything these days. That's why he needs his Dial-a-Friend network of parasocial retards to call upon at will. They soothe his butthurt through private messages when he's met with mean words and speculations.
He is slowly developing the perfect punchable face though.
From Gator's thread: During the Q&A portion of the panel Gator was greeted by cheers and shouts of "GATOR!" and subsequently asked the panel the cringe/dreaded question. Click through to watch.
This user posted a walkthrough of the YouTube corner.

I've archived the video below.
The count of fans at the tables at the time this video was taken seems to be something like this (I'm not sure if some people are just standing around or not):
Cecil Says: 2-3
Chrissie Mayr/Simpcast: 4-5
Nick Rekieta: 3
Camelot: 1
Dman1954: 1
@Cringestorian X posted a decently clear photo of Gator meeting Vic at the convention and based on that it looks like one of the 3 people talking to Nick is none other than TheGatorGamer:

It was like this throughout the day. Nick's table was occasionally empty. The Cecil Says + Chrissie/Simpcast side saw the most activity. There was no competition for meet and greet and it didn't seem like anyone stayed terribly long at the tables either.
Coomalot managed to get himself in a photo with Nerdrotic and Critical Drinker ( twitter | archive )
I like this photo because you can tell which guy is the one Drinker actually wants to be seen with and which one is the orbiter Drinker is jamming his elbow into their center of mass.

From what I understand, Elissa is a woman who has had to endure an ENORMOUS amount of shit during the Sophie Long case, and Nick either understands or should understand that. Yet he wants her to die because she has the audacity to make clips of him looking acting like a jackass, and they're not even deceptively edited. Like PerceptionCheck, it seems to me like she was at least initially motivated for a desire for him to pull up.
Nick is interpreting a mirror placed up to him as a betrayal, when I'm sure at least some people did it as an intervention.
Yes. It's also been speculated that the only reason Nick keeps going is because Vic goes to bat for him. Vic is normally the biggest draw, although this year Critical Drinker is nothing to sneeze at.

This youtuber corner is the worst idea Anime Matsuri has ever had and is probably the thing that's most likely to sink their con. No one cares about a bunch of has been washed up nobodies with dying channels. They'd have been better off just putting up another anime merch booth or something in the space.
Giving the gay flaggot a table is also just brain dead retarded, especially after he bragged about getting vtubers banned on Twitter for "death threats".

So let me get this straight. When Null was giving advice / suggestions to Nick about all of this weirdo mixing of fem Fans and Local’s chats, and the sexual nature it sometimes takes, is a bad idea. Nick was telling Null face. “No no you don’t understand, everything’s fine, the Kiwis are perma virgins etc…
Meanwhile he’s actually having meltdowns behind the scenes and basically confirming all the problems that arise from the situation, Nick himself created.

As others have noted, there is a singular panel for ALL the guests in the YT corner except for Simpcast. I cannot imagine that any of them are drawing a huge audience that would not otherwise come. It seems to be somewhere random in the middle of the convention for random people.
The people they should be trying to get are those like TheAnimeMan and others who make weeb content. I'm sure there is drama wirh Vic and some would be hard to get, but get a few over 100k subs, have them host some panels (note the plural), and they would do better
