I can't remember where I read it, I'll try and dig it up, but there was a study conducted where they found that most convicted pedos either exaggerated or outright lied about childhood molestation they'd experienced, because they knew it would get them sympathy and leniency in the eyes of the court and the public. A sob story of the cycle of abuse, instead of the tale of an evil predator.

Due to unfortunate extended experiences with male homosexuals (including bisexuals) and trans identified males, I would NOT believe their stories of molestation in earnest. I have witnessed gay males use “molestation as a personality arc” in the same way modern troons use terms like “transmisogyny” to step over anyone in their way.
The statistics for gay molestation are high, but if someone (especially a male, and “double especially” for gay males) offhandedly mentions that they were raped or molested, it probably did not happen.
