What's going on with Bob Mackey? I used to love that Simpsons podcast, the two hosts became insane. Nobody I know listens to the podcast anymore, so I assume that he will pop off as soon as the money dries up.

Anyone else think that Harley from Epic Meal Time got lucky in terms of avoiding a thread? Dude started and has his peak with Epic Meal Time years before the Farms became prevalent, he apparently caused folks to leave his show because of the business side of things, there's tons of EMT videos gone from that channel (and I mean A LOT), and last I checked he's been defending Ian a lot in the aftermath of Creator Clash.

Seems like a real fall from grace.

i used to watch papa gut back when he first started on youtube, he made decent videos for the most part. sometimes i wouldn't agree with them completely but it was servicable. i don't know what made me stop watching him but it was a video on covering a lolcow and the way he was trying to take the moral highground sounded gay to me. not like "hey guys, maybe we should stop fucking with the obvious retard"

As a former Turkey Tom fan, I agree with him wasting 5K dollars on a cringey disstrack and pumping out low-effort trash on his second channel while basically spoon-feeding Kiwifarms to normies on his main. I've gotten tired of him, and the way he treated Null is unacceptable.

He and Henry are making just under 17,000 USD a month on Patreon alone (not counting their merchandise sales) . They've both moved out of Berkley now, Henry moved to Seattle with his husband and Bob has purchased a condo with his wife in Vancouver. He was granted a visa sometime last year I think.

I still enjoy the podcast, but I really prefer when it is just the two of them, without a guest to muck up their thoughts. They fill my autistic needs about the Simpsons well.

His whole thing is that CREATORS are fucking gods and how dare people with the skills to control a twitch chat use their labor (that they already get paid for) to make some money. If his argument worked in the real world, nobody could ever learn art from another person, nobody could cover anyone's music without explicit permission on youtube, etc. and the worst part is he thinks people who are completely fine with reactors doing their things to their work are essentially scabs to a strike that nobody asked for but him and his losers.
