Adam Johnston / YourMovieSucks / YourMovieSucksDOTorg / AnUnkindness - It's hip to fuck dogs.

He also started a mukbang channel, because a subset of his audience are fat/belch fetishists (on his Twitch streams there would be people telling them to burp directly into the mic). Never watched it, have zero desire to. He started a "Watchalong" channel too, where he'd do live reactions to movies, with the stream just being his facecam.

He's got the Highlights channel run by that impoverished gimp tranny, too.
He can puke on command so I can only imagine the gross shit he does on his mookbongs

Lisa is YMS's favorite Simpsons character (same tbh):

YMS talking about film festivals. At 3:51 in the clip YMS says that he asked Moist Critikal to go with him to a film festival (lol) and afterwards he asks Mauler to come with him to a film festival:

The Critikal Drinker/YMS being an expert or authority in movies:

"You know what's great about having a food channel? You can write off all of your food."

Regarding the film festival clip: I think he makes a good point here that indie movies are less accessible. Usually if you want to watch indie movies you have to go to designated indie platforms that are obscure or hard to find. Sometimes you can't even find indie movies on any platforms and you have to torrent them or even buy a dvd or something (which is a barrier of entry for the average viewer). I just think Adam fails to understand that you wont introduce people to indie movies through film festivals alone. I've never been to a film festival in my life but i watch a lot of indie movies. Almost all of my favorite horror movies are indie movies. I think big platforms like Netflix should have an indie category where they promote indie artists to make it more accesible for most people to watch indies. Film festivals to me seem extremely boring. If i download a shitty indie film at home i can just turn it off and put on another one. Film festivals cost money (which is mentioned in the clip also) and take preperation. In most of Western Europe you have a thing called "film theater" or "movie house" that you can find in almost every big city but also a lot of small towns where they only exclusively show indie films. I just don't understand Adam's point of being so hellbent on people going to film festivals. That's like saying you need to go to music festivals to find good indie acts. Yeah, that is ONE way to find indie acts, but it is not the only way...

I btw don't know anything about Mauler but why does he associate with people like Rags?

So watching Adam on EFAP is absolutely painful. The guy is a pretentious douchebag. Were his early videos not garbage or is there somehow an audience for somebody peacocking about how they love film festivals?
You underestimate for how long this fucker has been making videos, started 2010 and had a long time to decline.
The first video of him I watched was Megan is missing, which got the director so pissed off that he angrily commentated on the video of a then 30k sub channel.
Sadly he began doing less and less carefully crafted YMS videos and more and more filler shit or straight up nothing.

I think the decline started in 2016 when he started doing reaction stuff with friends.

To put the kibosh on Adum's out-of-touch "people should be going to film festivals!" take:

We have real jobs with work schedules and finite vacation time that we'd like to spend elsewhere rather than going to a shitty nigger-ridden big city to watch movies we probably won't enjoy or want to watch again. Not everyone is in a position to blow multiple days of our lives on watching a handful of 90 mins films that nobody we know has seen, meaning we wouldn't even be able to talk to our peers about them.

we lost him to reddit boys, pack it up.

it's very ironic that someone who loves to watch art films and digest (via his 'media diet') every nuance in a 3 hour art project, but then he will look at the world around him and the performance of some of the most powerful media organizations the human race has ever seen, and just be like "yeah i'mma take this all at face value".

He's been a gold fedora'd redditor for years, sir. On his podcast he shilled for it, saying the updoot-downdoot system was the best because only good comments get updooted.

Years ago he got into some Reddit drama and basically admitted he uses his subreddits as hugboxes because the users don't immediately call him a dog fucker.

It’s more proof that RLM is still the best in the sense that even though they grew up, they never forgot their roots or what made them famous in the first place. You could never see Mike and Jay, let alone Rich and his infectious laugh, act like YMS in current day.

I think it's more that they're fully aware of how quickly their audience would turn on them if they expressed anything remotely political. I'm certain Mike and Jay are as liberal as the snow is white but they're probably smart enough to know not to shit where they eat.

I wouldn't bother watching anything of his that was covering a "good" movie because I don't care to listen to a terminally unemployed pozzed degenerate furfag with carpal tunnel from chronic masturbation pretend to be any kind of intellectual.
He spent 5 minutes trying to analyze Synechdoche's opening credits. It was such a stretch that it even made Mr. Fantastic wince. I don't know how anyone takes him seriously after that. He's a total brainlet.

Synechdoche is an obvious movie, too.

Yeah, the crux of this debate is him just shitting on drinker's politics and shitting on his audience and him for noticing how ram-rodded progressivism is in media. Also Adam needs to remind you again he's the only guy who values true cinema and arthouse.
I wish it was anyone else but Adam saying this stuff.

I want to like drinker but I also want to watch a movie review not hear about "The SJWs'" just shut the fuck up and point out why movie gud or bad.

Is Synechdoche even a good movie or is it just overly pretentious crap people like Adam say is good to feel superior?
It's pretty good, but it drags towards the beginning of the third act as it devolves into repeating the same general events over and over as a metaphor for dementia, but if you like character pieces then it holds up. Doesn't need a bunch of analysis to understand or appreciate either. It's better than Being John Malkovic but not as good as Adaptation.
