Remember in 1972 the precursor to our current DSA / Antifa problem set off over 1,200 pipe bombs in a single year trying to "spark a revolution" because they were so convinced the working class wanted real communism(tm) but were just waiting for a sign.
This was after half a decade or so of ramping up and still took years to ramp down. This included them bombing congress.
The people involved were mostly given sweetheart deals like minimum security prison with no fence and no guards so their Black Marxist allies could rush in, rescue them, and flee to Cuba. This woman would later inspire "Black Lives Matter."
The NLG, the Marxist legal guild that was both actively hamstringing efforts to stop these bombers with lawfare ALSO helped smuggle some of the pipe bombs in. The NLG are the green hat or armband wearing assholes at Antifa protests that threaten any cops that break ranks and try to stop the riot with civil rights lawsuits.
When all was said and done the FBI let the ringleader types flee into Academia because no one wanted to be the one who arrested Senator Jewey McGoldstein's retarded hippy daughter, and what trouble could she get in learning to be a teacher or study feminist poetry?
The big worry with the DNC about to collapse because they didn't build a base and instead let the DSA build it for them is that the DSA is going to convince themselves everyone agrees with them except the nazis and fascists who don't deserve civil rights and, in fact, must be killed or suppressed in the name of the revolution. (But don't worry, their teachers will raise their orphaned children properly, Maoist style.) All of these fuckwits think the entire US agrees with them. ALL of them. If Trump gets back in, or if the DNC starts to really crumble and break apart, they WILL try for a new Days of Rage, pipe bombs to inspire the communist utopia they were promised by Professor McGoldstein back in college. Guarantee it.

@ShitLurker shitl oh it's really bad most people tend to only focus on the urban blight. However there is a staggeringly massive amount of small rural towns that have been completely hollowed out. It's absolutely mind-boggling from Nebraska all the way through the Rust Belt continuing down the Mississippi to the Delta there's dead towns no businesses no grocery stores barely a gas station maybe a Dollar General. Drive through Missouri and you'll find entire towns that were just left to Decay over time..

I am only recently learning about the Days of Rage. They've been completely memory-holed from the history books. The official narrative is that it was all Cumbayah peaceful protests against war and bigotry.
Even when you google Days of Rage, you get articles about J6 mixed in.

I may be overly optimistic but how will this not massively turn off Independents, especially considering how a plurality already believed that Trump was being unfairly persecuted by the DOJ? At this point, an Indy who's generally dislike Trump might be compelled to vote for him out of fear of where the country is heading based off of shit like this.

How many "independants" are left that are unsure who they're voting for? I can't remember the last time I talked to someone that was undecided. There's plenty of people looking to see what Vivek and RFK does, but I think the vast majority of people know what side they'll fall on if it comes down to Biden v Trump round 2.
Personal experience, most of my peers are blue voters and not one has expressed anything but disgust for Biden. Many would back RFK but if it's Biden or Newsom, they're most likely not going to vote. Then again, not voting in 2024 might just mean someone else votes for you.
