I can personally attest that for Rittenhouse a lot of my much less online lawyer friends started watching his trial coverage and then dropped off because there was no new trial. If Nick would have just transitioned to mostly daytime trial coverage I think he would have retained a large audience.
He has a million excuses for why he didn't, but I think at the end of the day it was that he didn't want to manage payout splits to keep other creators interested, and he was only personally invested in trials that were political/salacious (see the Murdaw rage-quit). Also, it would have put the kibosh on late night dick around streams.
So basacially what I'm saying is it would have been work, and Nick don't want no part of that.
