We have another math genius in drex's server. Nick has "couple something hundred million" fans!
I don't exactly know what he means by "fans," but NO
individual on Youtube has more than 200M subscribers. Mr Beast comes closest at 176M. T-Series is the biggest channel of all time, but that's a record label.
This guy either mistyped, or he's smoking crack.
Even if he meant a couple of hundred THOUSAND fans, going off Nick's Youtube subscribers, that still doesn't seem right. Nick isn't pulling in the views anymore like he used to. Outside of the Taylor Shaubusiness coverage, he seems to be pulling in around 20K, on average, per video.
What I gleen from this is that Nick got a lot of subs from Weeb Wars, and a lot more from Heard and Rittenhouse, but he's got
serious audience retention issues now. I'm pretty sure what happened is a lot of people subbed when he was covering popular topics, but the vast majority of those just haven't unsubbed and aren't really watching his other content.
I can further gleen that his best option to "pull up" is to emphasize true crime trial coverage again. But he'd have to commit to it. That might be too much to ask now. Plus, even then, I doubt he's gonna see the numbers he saw from the Heard trial anytime soon. Consider his last Taylor Schaubusiness video pulled in 69K views, while his biggest video of all time pulled in 2M and was a clip from his Heard trial coverage.
Nick is a story of "right person, right place, right time." He gave a voice to people were were sick of #MeToo garbage during the Vic saga, and he provided non-bias coverage of Rittenhouse and Heard when all the mainstream talking heads proclaimed how Heard stunning and brave and that Kyle is a monster. So much of his previous success is due to external factors he he has little control over.
However, if you're a YouTuber and your numbers are cratering then we become a pretty great resource when it comes to trying to determine why that might be.
Particularly if you are YouTuber who picked up a decent chunk of your audience
from KF. Which Nick
absolutely did. It's why he's so frazzled.
This site doesn't have all the answers as to what's wrong with Nick, but it damn sure can explain why a lot of ex-Weeb Warriors fell out of love with him.
