This IMO is one of the biggest Ls the dems have taken on this debacle. It's insane how much of a fucking fumble they have done over this shit. HI is pretty solid blue, it plays into their fucking Climate Emergency agenda, it is free fucking PR. AND THEY DID AND CONTINUE TO DO NOTHING!

It would be trivial to have the fucking puppet in the White House send a little federal aid and spin it as them caring. They don't even have the excuse of it being MAGA country that got shafted like the East Palestine thing. But they did nothing, and instead they allowed Trump to be the somehow doing more to speak on it than the fucking POTUS they put in place.

If these were competent dictators, like say Saddam or Qaddafi, they would have already made a little theater play out of it and sent aid and done a propaganda show and some speech about slaying the enemies who caused this tragedy. Or they would have had the media really clamp down and not mention it at all, and hide any possible leak about the bad look it gives the regime so it wouldn't be a issue to harm the government. Instead they did the perfect golden mean of just doing enough to make everyone pay attention to their incompetence.

- News stations ignore it or just run with general election conspiracy never saying what the full charges are.
- No one watches the case or looks at any info.
- Every one takes news at face value and because Orange-man bad.
- ergo, Trump bad whether he is arrested or not because the dems are rightfully prosecuting him on Jan 6, which was worse than 9/11.

That they can openly change their story to entirely different excuses ("it was fake!" vs "it was real but it was a test!") and so many people lap it up and regurgitate it as if it's truth is more evidence that the people who support leftist politics do not have capacity for independent thought. They are cattle in almost every sense of the word except productivity, because cattle at least make food products. These people are so fucking stupid that it should be legal to use them as organ repositories and drug test subjects, hell I'd rather see Pfizer use these dipshits to test drugs on than mice, which probably have more self awareness.
