It is clear in here the company is being mismanaged and there is inappropriate conduct but holy shit this bitch is stupid and crazy, to the point she even admits she might be stupid but the conduct is still unacceptable.

She signed an employment contract before negotiating salary, then when the conditions were changed just went with it and accepted the elementary example of breach of contract, if there was any time to quit it was there. So at this point in reading I was thinking, ok she is just really really stupid. Then later when she says she cut her leg open to get time off this thread jumped the shark. This bitch is legit insane. I wish she had just covered the misconduct and not included her insanity.

I know legal action isn't on the table, and she sort of precludes it with some of the dumb decisions she made in this story but imagine putting this cacodemon on the stand, what jury is gonna believe ANYTHING she says after cross examined on the ritual sacrifice of her own leg to the Dark PTO Gods.

I have posted his reddit before (https://www.reddit.com/user/bran_redd/). He had identified himself in the LTT subreddit so it is not a "dox" and should be interpreted imo as a public account

TLDR - he was diagnosed with autism (aspergers) and wanted to "find himself". Seems also a girl was involved.

Basically the second post. If people don't trust that the thermal paste you're hawking is actually the best, and you took this sponsorship out of good faith, the sponsor bails. And it's easy enough to see if paste works or not; it does or doesn't. It's a much safer sponsorship than say, Intel or AMD, which have way more money and reason to throw money at you and tell you to Fudge the numbers.

Why do ex-tech people always sound like they escaped a mindless cult? It's a fucking job. What we decide to do for a living is a choice we make everyday and make it a calling if you want. However, what they do for the company is simply called working and the point is to be compensated for it. Don't ever become that imbecile who truly believes they'll receive special treatment based upon a false premise that their corporation is somehow a highly superior force in the universe that has evolved beyond the limitations of human nature. It's a quick way to be used and abused and to get oneself into trouble.

The problem is that ADHD style editing is the new hot thing, so instead of a small basic video taking a few hours to edit, it now takes 5 times the amount because ZOOMERS NEED FLASHY THING TO NOT DIE (also they need to justify their paycheck when plugins that do their dogshit work at 10x the speed exist but shhhh)

Because Millenials and GenZ think that what they are going through is harder than anything anyone else has ever gone through in the work place and in order to get maximum Gibs on the Internets with Updoots , +1s, and Likes is to spill your guts and watch as people flock to you codding you in the embrace to make your shit life seem bearable and feel like you are "heard and understood". These are the same people who cannot separate video games from reality and now you understand how broken these last 2 generations are when they get into the work place.

Pretty much all of the $5k upgrade videos he'll do a basic count of what's blatantly been stolen. I wonder what happens after, does he take that back or do they get to keep it and steal more later?

There was an episode (I don't remember which) where they mentioned keeping inventory. If anyone can hunt it down, it was an episode where they were doing some weekend server upgrading stuff with Tranthony and Jake and they were barcoding stuff and shit.
Clearly they're not really keeping proper inventory of all the garbage that piled up over the years.

I was just going to post about this character. If you read between the lines she seems to be mischaracterizing or taking very mild incidents you'd probably get anywhere and forming them into a narrative that sounds much worse than it actually was when condensed together. And the end result is a moderately incompetently run outfit is made to seem like a hellscape dungeon.

These type of women and they usually are women I like to call 'drama torpedos'. They sit in storage for years or sometimes decades then usually after an entity or individual is accosted by some scandal and is foundering. They hop aboard the victim bandwagon to deliver a drama explosion that dramatically raises the stakes and tanks the reputation of the target in what was formerly a minor controversy because the drama payload almost always includes some accusation of a sexual nature and bEliEve aLl woMyN .

We've seen this over and over again from organizations that insist on hiring from the they/them crowd. Channel Awesome is another recent example that comes to mind.

This whole thing with LMG reminds me of Illuminaughtii and how one spark suddenly created an exploition with a shockwave that grows larger the further from the original complaint it gets.

The ripples have been there for a while -- there was a peak reduction in the quality of the content. At one point LMG would have been my go to but ever since they bought their studio the number of videos that I've turned off because of how bullshit they were compared to real usage scenarios grew. Kinda sad to see in its own way; at one point LMG would have been considered the herald of consumer rights and informative videos for PC gamers and tech nerds, and now it's just the soap opera production of the sector (pushing out content with no quality every day/week).
