nick has not clarified, in my opinion, what josh needs to change to turn around as nick has said the "falling off" of kiwifarms
I think that's because Nick wants things either Null can't give him, or won't give him.

He wants the thread to go back to sucking his dick, all criticism to cease, and probably Himedall to be banned.

He's not saying it aloud, because what he wants makes him sound like a thin-skinned little bitch.

he provided non-bias coverage of Rittenhouse and Heard

Nitpicking, but I'd argue that Nick's trial coverage was still biased, just in a more palatable, heterodox way.

Unbiased coverage would've been watching the Law&Crime feed without commentary.

If Nick would have just transitioned to mostly daytime trial coverage I think he would have retained a large audience.
He has a million excuses for why he didn't, but I think at the end of the day it was that he didn't want to manage payout splits to keep other creators interested, and he was only personally invested in trials that were political/salacious (see the Murdaw rage-quit). Also, it would have put the kibosh on late night dick around streams.

More broken promises.

I don't know how many times post-Rittenhouse Nick promised his regularly-scheduled non-trial daystreams were starting next week (check your local listings).

The main reason Nick couldn't daystream & keep his 15-minutes-of-fame audience, even before the worsening alcoholism, is that his impression of a "good dad" seems to be one that plays chaffeur instead of being the breadwinner and reporting to his dayjob.

You'd be surprised. Anna is pretty dumb. She's let people walk all over her before. Check out some old SimpCast episodes.

I watch The J.A.C.K. Show from time to time.

I'm always torn whether the Anna hate from their audience is a running joke or whether a not-insignificant portion of their fans are serious when they say they'd prefer she wasn't on the show whatsoever.

I know you and @Pippa's Greasy KB are saying this is Anna and Nick passing the buck back and forth, but I don't see how his booth was an issue unless Nick or somebody else perceived it as an issue and is throwing a fit. And I don't see anybody perceiving it as an issue unless they are assmad by the lack of attention Nick got this year. CD seemed to do good for himself despite having a nearly identical booth design.

From the perspective of any YT corner creators who attended AM pre-2023, I can see them bitching (and rightly so) that the 2023 version was so bush league and a downgrade in terms of prestige and finishing touches compared to previous years.

Even if the average con booth expectation standard in general is set so low.

I am just curious, at this point who is surprised that he doesn't stream often anymore? He went pretty hard during the Schabizness trial but for the most part, post vacation Nick is going to do what he wants when he wants, and that means frequent periods of no streaming.

Wasn't the Schabusiness trial done within a week?

Is Nick replaceable?

Vawus
Yeah you are right. Who we watching the next few weeks? I'll prob watch some Joe before he gets too boring and definitely catch Sean
Darkomen42
There's way more shit to watch than I have time, finding content isn't that hard

I can relate somewhat.

This very evening I found myself lamenting while browsing YT that there's a late night livestream hole vacated by Nick that still isn't filled a year later.

I did raise her pretty smart..her friend is a risk taker. I would send a pic however I don't want to dox them here.

Worried about doxing her adult daughter.

Personal ass shot lewds in her bedroom don't count though.

He's been banned 5 times. And I don't think Hydro or Cynthia have been banned. They were booted from the community, but their locals are still intact. Still is on his 6th account.
aCompleteRandom
Still hasn't done anything to particularly damage the community or threaten Nick's income stream or anything like that. He just gets overboard edgy at times. And since the block function works for chat these last several months, anyone who finds him too offputting can simply block him. NN for Nick to play mommy. If Still violates locals policies, they'll ban him.

Technically correct re: Cynthia and Hydro, though still noseguarding and disingenuous.

That elissaclips chic used to piss off chat

Did Elissa go missing from Locals chat?

Did they run her off?

Don't recall seeing her for some time in the logs.

Looks like nate lost his lawsuit
RekietaLaw
This is the big reason not to sue as a content creator

Nate still managed to out crowdfund you 7-fold.

SquishyHunter
But tbh, Rackets by all accounts is a genuine, smart, funny guy who is passionate about who and what he is passionate about. His wife is a great person, and his mom was very nice.
SquishyHunter
Probably about 15 people when I left, including me, wife, rackets, lady R, momma Rackets, and other attendees.

Interesting...

A new wild Rackets appears!

Strong disagree. I didn't see anything in the pictures that was terribly different from what I've seen from other conventions. They looked like the autograph tables that most other conventions set up for guests. The only major difference I saw was that the 2022 signage was at least arguably better looking.

I think somebody is just assmad Nick didn't get as much attention this year, and they're looking for an excuse. They need look no farther than Rekieta himself.

Did Elissa go missing from Locals chat?

Oh, she's been gone for ages now. Pretty sure she either got run off or banned like Cynthia. Nick was pretty rough with her. He did at least threaten to ban her several times,. and she didn't appear to back down. To which I say, good for her.

Strong disagree. I didn't see anything in the pictures that was terribly different from what I've seen from other conventions.

Agree to disagree.

I respect your positions usually in this thread.

I'm solely basing my impressions on pics I've seen on here from AM (and Kurt's stream).

But whatever Nick vs Anna vs AM vs no one's level of fault, the YT corner this year and the generic banners looked like amateur hour embarrassing shit.

I'm only interested in whether the yt corner is gonna be a staple or not because from the way nick talks about it even on his legoland night stream, he says he still has to see if he gets invited back to AM for 2024 or not. He's practically the reason it exists so he should be the one running it and he was..so why is it still always looking like a 'maybe' after 4 years (3 cons?)

It's giving me the impression that AM doesn't really care if the YT corner exists or not? So if none of the ytbers approaches them and say they want to run it for 2024 it doesn't happen? That's what I'd like to know. Cause if that's the case and Nick has to be the one that says "let's have one this year" but Nick also doesn't want to organize things (you know he just wants to arrive and sit, have his balls licked by fans and then leave)...who's gonna really keep it going?

Basically I want to see if Nick can keep it up. He wants to do a religious show, nothing happened, he wants to hire paralegals for locals content, nothing happened, he wants to do 1on1 interview show, forgets about in 3 weeks, he wants to... This is about the only thing he outside his stream that he has a streak on and he still needed anna's help (and also even less streams at the con).

i know very little about kf, but from what i can gather, they seem to hyper focus on people they are CERTAIN they know, and when those people fail to be that model they have in their brains, they freak out.

panzerdood
this is true but is entirely dependent on the thread and the autisms that most frequent them
Oh shit they got us. I hyper focused on Nick barely covering law topics on a show Called Lawsplaining the Interwebs by a channel Named Rekieta Law. Holy shit the H Y P E R F O C U S!

Do these people actually read anything here or just make it up? Since every other one says the site is still down I assume they don't read anything.

I'd like to choke Montograph in and out of consciousness, whie a beat his skull with a hammer and slice his face up,; to see which one kills him first, I'm thinking the hammer but he deserves the other two types of pain too.

Man, this nigger is one of those hill rapists straight off of Deliverance. Who in fuck's name decides they want to torture somebody because they disrespected their online crush?

And to put a top hat on it all, he lives in Appalachia. Perhaps Ned Beatty disrespected Nick as well?

Wasn't the Schabusiness trial done within a week?
3-4 days, if I recall.

It was discussed here, and Nick's showing was peanuts compared to even Murdaugh, IIRC.

The man doesn't draw an audience like he used to and does not want (or cannot) to work at it.

He honestly comes across now as an extremely lucky streamer who is suddenly surprised when his 15 minutes are up. It is childish: the game is only fun when you are easily winning.

More charitably, I think he is UNABLE to do so because he fried his brain on drugs and alcohol.
Did Elissa go missing from Locals chat?

She has not featured. Maybe a stray comment here or there I have missed, but I figured that the piranhas would have pounced on her. I would have noticed that.
And to put a top hat on it all, he lives in Appalachia. Perhaps Ned Beatty disrespected Nick as well?
He claims Arizona as his residence fairly consistently months previous.

If there's any grievance from anyone other than Nick, it's that AM appeared to be rolling out the metaphorical red carpet for the YouTubers last year and this year it was more of a formality stuffed in a corner.

But I could see Nick blaming AM for his poor reception. We've seen the DMs where he blames Elissa for spreading false narratives even though what happened was that he received blowback for the words that came out of his own mouth.

I'm only interested in whether the yt corner is gonna be a staple or not because from the way nick talks about it even on his legoland night stream, he says he still has to see if he gets invited back to AM for 2024 or not. This was definitely not what Nick was saying after last year's convention. He said in his stream from Jamaica that next year (i.e. last weekend) was going to happen, it was going to be amazing, and that there would be 12 straight months of planning and promotion.

It sounds like he's laying the groundwork to skip next year.

3-4 days, if I recall.

It was less, yeah. He sitting on 80-100K views on his Murdaugh trial videos, but didn't clear 70K on Schabusiness

He's got maybe another shot to make something happen this October because that's when the other suitcase murder trial is tentatively set. I think that's a trial a lot of people are genuinely interested in. I base that partially off the fact that Jim Can't Swim's hilarious video on Sarah Boone has an impressive 16M views. He's gotten more views on that video than even Law & Crime have on their coverage.

1692196575795.png

But I think your analysis is spot on. I'm not holding my breath.

Nick's in this murky middle right now where he's not doing what trial fags want which was its own audience but also due to the trial streams bringing in degeneracy, he has lost his old fag Vic era viewers which were highly lucrative.
He didn't really "lose" them like it was some accident. He actively told them to go fuck themselves and leave. And they left. And then he is now acting confused why that happened, because he is a literal retard.
Man, this nigger is one of those hill rapists straight off of Deliverance. Who in fuck's name decides they want to torture somebody because they disrespected their online crush?
Still-Born is pretty much the exemplary Nick fan at this point. I hope that Polack kike-nosed faggot is proud of his fandom.

Congratulations, Balldo Man, this psychotic piece of shit is your fanbase.

Oh my God I just realised what your avatar meant after you posted this larger image. I can't believe I missed it.
All credit goes to @chudbere. She showed it at the end of one of her streams and played Kom Susser Tod as outro music ("Tumbling down, tumbling down, tumbing doooooownnnn").

I adopted it because I spit my drink out when I saw that. It was too funny. I think it's fitting to keep because the Nick thread is what I mostly post in these days, and as tribute to her. With IRL things getting in the way, I don't have the time to follow much else.

Alas, Claire had boomer-tier cyber security. Hopefully she's doing okay though. It would be nice if she came back here someday. I know she got a lot of shit for running a Metokur-themed fediverse, but thought she was a pretty decent KF poster.

If there's any grievance from anyone other than Nick, it's that AM appeared to be rolling out the metaphorical red carpet for the YouTubers last year and this year it was more of a formality stuffed in a corner.
Well yeah, but... in their defense (and I don't normally defend AM)... A LOT of shit has happened since July of 2022. I think maybe people are forgetting to factor that in.

It started with the Vic appeal failing the month after AM 2022 ended, and it's been downhill for Nick from there. What got him in the door back in 2019 was him being the chief advocate for Vic's lawsuit. That's over now. Nick also turned hostile towards anime fans a mere two months before this year's con.

I guess to @Mordecai "3 Finger" Brown's argument, maybe they should have done something nicer for Critical Drinker, instead of sticking him in the corner with the others, but I am loathe entertain the idea that AM should be blamed for less people being interested in Nick this year. Afterall, CD still seemed to have a decent showing. I still maintain they seemed like pretty standard booths. It's only relative to 2023 that they seem less impressive. I don't think Nick would have had a much better showing even if they gave him the same treatment as 2022.

But I could see Nick blaming AM for his poor reception.
He will, if he hasn't already. Nothing is ever Nick's fault. Ever.

It sounds like he's laying the groundwork to skip next year.
It would be a smart decision on his part.

Keep crying bitch. You want to be me or fuck me? Probaly both you fucking queer.
Wait, so Still-Life is the fedposter and Still-Born is an alog of specifically him? Or is this actually one tard with two puppets talking to himself?
I genuinely thought it was one guy and the name changes were just attempts at ban evading while still being recognizably him. Yanno eventually he'll make a mistake and give away enough information to dox himself, it'll be interesting to see what happens next in the Still-Gay saga.

The difference is last year the YouTube section was one of the biggest draws of the convention, and that was driven by Nick. You can see the pictures of Nick's line, and the claims from him that it was comparable to Vic's line, and in that context it makes sense to give them above average quality booths.

The YouTube section was basically one of the centerpieces of the convention. Which is why, when looking for pictures of last years' booths, I saw a lot of AM detractors asking why YouTubers with tenuous connections to anime were getting pride of place at the convention. If there was any such chatter this year, I didn't notice it. It doesn't seem that the standard of the booths was subpar in relation to the amount of attention from fans it was getting. Critical Drinker had a sizable line but other than that it didn't seem to be extraordinarily busy. There's also the fact that, in the counterfactual world where CD got a special booth with his face emblazoned on it and the rest didn't, certain others might be pissed.

What happened is that Nick got a hard dose of reality after spending the last year LARPing like he hasn't lost any standing and that he's still an A-list e-celeb. It seems AM got wind of that beforehand, considering the "Nick Rekieta and the Youtubers" was rolled into the "FNT" panel.

It must be kind of awkward visiting a convention and suddenly realizing there are many more former fans there than current ones.
