I think the levels of trust go: Furfag and the others, then Nick squeezing in above a Journo since at least he's not paid to lie by a corpo that hates the average person. Nick's lies are at least more unpredictable than your average CNN/FOX/IGN puff piece.
Drexel isn't competent enough to do his "smashing" as more than a side-hustle or (possibly for bragging rights) so the money isn't that good. The swinger vacations he arranges might get him paid more (as was the case with "C"), but his involvement (and pay) would only be to the extent of a travel agent.
I don't recall specifically drex getting anything outta it monetarily, though I do remember him claiming he took a step back from all the orgies and now just set it up for his "smash bros" to go gangbang random whores. He also wanted to start a porn company with the recordings or something like that but then had a daughter and had to slow down, though that doesn't seem to bother nick any with his sex dungeon bullshit so maybe drex just made that stuff up later on for bragging rights.
The obvious deciding factor should be, does lying benefit Nick financially or sexually? If not would lying satisfy his ego or protect his reputation in any way. Nick becomes increasingly more trustworthy the further he gets from the subject of the potential lie, just like a woman. He likes to hear the sound of his own voice and considers himself an authority on all subjects, his insecurity would prevent him from willingly appearing uninformed. Not that he would ever admit it later if he made a mistake, because lying in that situation would be to protect his ego. So he wouldn’t necessarily lie about a neutral subject, but would lie to avoid being wrong.

It still boggles my mind that he 1) can’t see this reality for what it is and 2) he refuses to take ownership of his responsibility for this being the case. Nick and Kayla’s reputations have suffered — as has the Rekieta family name — only as a result of embarrassing information Nick voluntarily broadcast to his sizable audience.
Wouldn't the fact he's 6'6 and bulky preclude that occupation? He would be hitting his head on the celling of an airplane during the snacks part of the flight.

Well, if nothing else, the timing is spot on. Although I don't know if that's definitive. I clearly recall that Nick went to some pains to refer to the picture as "Drexel face," as did many of us. As if he wanted to emphasize the fact that he did it with the approval of Drex.
I kind of like the idea that Drex re-entering Nick's life is what drove him to degeneracy. It was spurred on by Ronica and Marchi so basically they accidentally set a time bomb that wound up exploding in Nick's face. Vic lost the case and Nick's reputation imploded.
No, I agree. I loathe KickVic, but fair is fair. @Ron Toye actually cleaned up somewhat nicely here, in the end, in spite of himself. In my view, he looks somewhat better after the Ricardo and Romaine shit was revealed. I'm still floored that Nick made all those black bull cuck jokes at Ron's expense only for that to drop. If that wasn't projection on Nick's part, it sure seem like it now.
