Marcan is a clot shot believer, shown in TemperanceV's screenshots:Should have taken the vax. Bad goy.
This also means those two retard pedophiles have already infected a bunch of locals who just wanted to go to Comiket. Talk about loving Japan so much.
As you noted, Near/Byuu actually seemed pretty level-headed and aware of his flaws, if self-deprecating to a fault. I wonder if Hector or another one of Byuu's aggressive SJW acquaintances found out that he had actually made an account here to interact with his thread, flipped out, and swooped in to start hectoring him (no pun intended) about the dangers of interacting with the neo-nazi transphobes of Kiwi Farms and filling his head with ideas about how they were going to hound him forever and ruin his life. All this because Hector, or whoever, was merely concerned about Byuu's safety, of course.
Unfortunately, Byuu seems like the sort of person who'd be very liable to fixate more and more on such ideas once implanted in his head, to the point of working himself up to the state he was in when he contacted Null. It surely didn't help matters that he was living in Japan at the time - Japan can be an isolating country even when you understand the language, and Byuu, by his own account, never really got to the point of fluency. So he'd be cooped up in his little apartment all day long with nothing but these thoughts filling his head, and little to nothing in the way of a social network that could give him the sympathy and support he needed, in a country which is famous for its relative lack of support for mental health issues in general. Sounds like the perfect storm to push somebody as vulnerable as Byuu over the edge.

Byuu/Near/David's final 4chan posts contradict the "pushed over the edge" theory somewhat by showing him apparently levelheaded as late as June 24 2021 (emphasized potential double-meaning):
>I absolutely regret how immature, vile, edgy and downright repugnant I was to people in the emulation community.
Same for myself. My RSD used to be externalized and I was too much on the defensive all the time.
>I'd like to think we are on good terms. I really do.
We certainly are. Other people won't let go of the past. That doesn't mean we have to be stuck there though.
People use guilt to try and destroy your self-worth and control you. Don't let them do it. Be proud of who you are and your accomplishments.
We're talking about saying things on the internet: it's okay to forgive yourself for that and say you're not that person anymore.
