26. A monetary sanction awarding the Plaintiff their costs and fees, including their actual attorneys fees, incurred in connection with the Supplemental Examination and bringing this Motion and an additional monetary sanction of $100 per day for each day that the Defendant fails and/or refuses to comply with the Order.

I wonder how much the debt will go up if the judge grants this? $10,000? $15,000? It seems pretty likely that the judge would grant this if he's found guilty since this whole contempt hearing is about not paying the original judgment and it's attorney's fees.

Best part is that no matter what happens, he will pay Quasi. Though I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't show up to the courthouse.
I bet he's drinking to cope. Knowing that this hearing is just around the corner. That his ego and wallet is going to take a massive hit no matter how this goes down.
Wait for the knock Patrick.

They almost never open with jailing someone. Not even this guy.
I think Pat is dumb, fat, and stupid enough to defy expectations. He came to the Nadolski thing with nothing and tried to enter an edited text conversation as evidence by showing the Judge his phone.

Pat is a spectacular retard and I can imagine him getting frothing mad about something.

This isn't a punitive contempt hearing, so he won't get a standalone fine just for losing. It's intended to compel compliance, which is why Quasi's lawyer is asking for $100 a day instead of some huge fine, as well as to compensate Quasi for having his time and money wasted having to pursue this, hence costs and fees.

Incidentally, this is exactly why Pat lost in the first place, by wasting everyone's time, including the court's, refereeing his infantile discovery tantrum in his frivolous lawsuit. Parties are supposed to act like adults and manage discovery between themselves. Instead, Pat acted like a big fat spoiled CHIIIIIILD.

Isn't the first part of the line asking for the judge to force Fatso to pay back the attorneys fees Quasi incurred trying to force Fat to comply with the original judgement through the debtors exam he skipped and filing the motion to hold Pat in contempt + the $100 a day of non compliance? I don't know if Quasi got the original lawyers to agree to the pay a fixed fee through all the appeals and litigation like Null did with Melinda and Russel, so rehiring the same or different lawyers has to be adding up.

A couple things that popped into my deranged head.

First off, contempt of court can get tossed around with hilarious frequency. During the Manson trial for the Tate-Labianca murders, every lawyer involved got gigged on contempt. Yes, even Bugliosi, the prosecutor. Moral of the story: don't piss off the judge.

Second, there IS prison hooch. It's got a number of names, though it's all made the same way: contraband fruit, bread, sugar, ketchup, water, all tossed into a garbage bag and fermented for 1-2 weeks. I can't imagine drinking something like that, but I guess if you want booze desperately enough, well...

Pat just filed a motion to try to delay the hearing:

He doesn't appear to have a lawyer. It's THREE DAYS before the hearing. He knows he's fucked.

Edit: if it gets delayed Quasi can add all the new evidence on video of him saying he's not paying.

Wow, that must be the legal strategy and "fighting" that he alluded to in the podcast.
A move that is very late, very gay and very fat.

It's obvious to all of us that it's just delay tactics, but I think Judge Sosnay is likely to grant it because piggy is pro se and it's technically the first request to delay so he hasn't spent his good faith yet. (Chapter 128 was a different proceeding).

Judge can grill him a bit about whether he actually TRIED to get a lawyer, he can caution him that he won't tolerate his bullshit, but still grant a continuance for a few weeks in the end. Better for the pig to lose fair and square with representation than have him giving interviews claiming he wasn't allowed proper defense.

This is under my assumption that his cause for the motion is that he couldn't secure a lawyer yet, if it's some 1.7 GPA level motion it could go differently.

That's what I said, the first part is compensatory, and the second to encourage compliance.

First, that judge was a notorious hardass, but he wasn't out of line. Everyone involved was peacocking and showboating. If Judge Ito had the balls to do this during the O.J. Simpson trial, it might have had an entirely different result.

I'd say it'll probably be granted but if it isn't, he's really fucked and the judge is actually mad.

What’s more likely?

A: he has found a source of funds to pay off Quasi outright, but needs more time for said sources to provide the money?

B: He thinks he has found a winning strategy, some way to appeal, or plans on counter-suing Quasi?

C: He is planning on fleeing the country?

Everyone watch the news for an earthquake centered in Milwaukee. Rick is shaking in his boots and the entire city will be made to pay.

If Fat was the kind of guy who benched 250 (more than just absolutely struggling to lift it once, arms shaking and shit) he'd be fucking solid.
He's a pudgy fat fuck.
Can confirm as a fatty that did weight lifting as a way to become less fatty during highschool. Upper body strength was never my strong suit but I was up to 360 pounds by the end of two semesters.

D: He's hoping for at least one more night of watching Da'Quantravious inflate Nikki before the pokey

Do you have to give a reason when you ask for a delay? If so, what are the chances we’ll get to see his reasons? I hope it’s not granted, been looking forward to seeing what happens nexxxTtt. I feel like he might have had a better chance if his request was filed by a lawyer because they could say “hey we just got hired and I haven’t got time to read all this shit by Thursday” or explain that they were due in court for something else that day.
